Northern Galaxy Hotel-Isiolo — Hotel in Isiolo

I recently had to spend two nights at the Northern Galaxy. I heard it’s the best option in Isiolo town, though that’s not saying much! The staff were quite nice and welcoming, and the room was claustrophobic, but relatively clean (no bugs!). But the biggest negative is the hotel is still completely unfinished — no roof, dust everywhere and extraordinarily loud hammering on concrete starting right outside my door at 7am. Also no one ever cleaned my room and the bedding was icky, so I needed to sleep with my clothes on. Oh, and the toilet only worked:/flushed on the 10th try or so! Restaurant was mediocre (though again, staff were quite pleasant) and although they can cook all taste and flavor out of a chicken, on the upside, they serve cold Tusker beer! I’m sure the hotel will be worthy of a higher rating once...

I liked the hotel to a point that I returned. But this time round, their service was not up to standard. Their waiters & waitresses are rude, arrogant, non courteous.. the list is endless. ||I am disappointed. ||They literally kick me out from the restaurant at 11 while I was having my dinner & was informed that they were actually doing me a favor by serving me food at that time.||The waiter & waitress that operated the night shift on 20-12-2015 were horrible.||My toiletries were also picked from my room.
