Naiberi Overland Campsite and Resort is heaven on earth, and would recommend this place to anyone anytime, period!!
From arrival, it felt like home away from home; friendly staff, ducks always in a row, gorgeous rooms, serene environment...... I could go and on about it but would love to cap it off with Raj - heaven sent, accomodative, advisor, helper, guide and also happens to be the owner. Not so many resort owners would go out of their way to advise on where to go, how to get there, what to carry....list is endless.
Raj and team made the getaway experience worthwhile and can't really thank them enough..... All I can say is get yourself a booking at the earliest and experience the warmth from Grace, Patrick, Gladys, Celestine and Vivian. The chef made sure we had breakfast, lunch and dinner how we wanted, when we wanted and trust..... #FingerLickingGood!!!!

Read moreHidden gem tucked in the woods 400m off the main paved road to Eldoret. The resort has multiple lodging options ranging from private cabins with covered verandas (where we stayed) to shared bunkrooms to campsites. Like being in a rain forest. Beautiful place to explore, with greenery, carvings, waterfalls and pools, and wildlife. Restaurant and bar are in a sort of open cave with a fireplace, darts, and a pool table - incredible ambiance. Excellent food, and you can opt for bed and (included) breakfast (we did) served/delivered right on your front porch, including hot Kenyan tea and coffee and hearty portions of fresh fruits and juices, eggs, bacon, and toast. The manager, Grace, is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Patrick, the gatekeeper, was happy to let me out each morning for a run....
