I recently stayed at Enkaji Resort and honestly, I can’t recommend it enough. From the moment I booked to the moment I checked out, everything was smooth and thoughtful.
The cottages are spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with attention to detail in almost every corner. We stayed in Cottage 1, and waking up to a full panoramic view of the hills was magical ,the sunsets especially were unforgettable.
The staff were outstanding. A special shoutout to Bill at the reception and the friendly security gentleman (whose name I sadly forgot) they made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to help with anything I needed.
While the resort doesn’t currently have an active restaurant, they’re expecting one to be up by November. For now, you can either bring your own meals or hire a chef, which can be a little tricky if you’re really hungry. That said, this small detail doesn’t take away from the overall experience.
The bonfire kept glowing, the peace and quiet were incomparable, and the location is super convenient just about 300m off the main road, with a short gravel stretch that most cars can handle easily in dry season.
Enkaji is one of those rare places where you can truly disconnect and soak in nature. I loved every bit of my stay and would gladly come back again (and...

Read moreI visited Enkaji for a weekend of peace, tranquility and stunning views, and it did not disappoint! In fact I took another reviewer’s feedback that they hadn’t stayed long enough, and glad I stayed longer. It was the perfect getaway to read, write, meditate and relax.
Gardens are beautifully landscaped and the grounds are reminiscent of a rustic fairyland with cobblestones and clay-paved pathways. Cottages are tastefully designed and very comfortable and clean. The kitchens are fully stocked - gas stove, pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, glasses, mugs, cutlery, tea, sugar, coffee and salt and pepper. Note there are no power-grabbing appliances — so no microwave. They have bbqs with coal to grill, and also a small fridge.
Cottage 6 has a beautiful enclosed patio (not facing the views) and has its own fire pit. A hammock would be perfect in there, especially to watch the stars at night. There are some trees in front of the cottage so it’s not an unobstructed view. Cottage 7 has a more clear view. The communal area bonfire and sundowner area have the best views!
Owner is very responsive and helpful - was a great stay and can’t...
