Mould and dust in wardrobe door, some clothes, bags and shoes even ended up catching mould

Sink in living room leaking, sink falling apart

Not much water pressure on most showers and toilets/Arabian showers

Half of the lights not working

Furniture very dated and partly broken

Once there was no electricity for more than three days and they only switched on the generator in the evening of the third day

Shower knobs falling off

Mosquito nets with holes and falling apart

Knobs of one of the wardrobes were wobbly and fell off

Window closing latches in several rooms lose and fell off

Rust in several places

Water coming out of shower heads and some of the Arabic showers smelling bad due to lack of maintenance

No tv

Dirty walls

Half of the ac remotes missing

Fridge and freezer very old and not working properly, water on the floor

Electronic devices drinking a lot of electricity as very outdated

If you want to charge Western prices update that place to Western standard first. This is not a luxury villa. This is an old house which urgently needs some renovation.

Before we got to the house it had obviously also not been used for a long time. Many fans and some showers were not even working at all.

My family and I had a great time spending our holiday at Kilifi Maghreb. We loved the food and service, the rooms and the family house we stayed in was well maintained and always cleaned. The kids totally enjoyed playing at the swimming pool (on the boat, water balloons) and play areas on the trampoline, train and bouncing castle. They could not get enough and wanted to extend the holiday for one more week. This place is such a cool spot to host a birthday party for either kids or adults. The environment, the ambiance and being all covered with trees is just breath taking..

We loved the food and the portins were quite filling. WiFi connection was stable and reliable throughout our stay. The service crew was professional and always going out of their way if we needed something extra. We are already looking for the next holiday or opportunity to go back.
