We had a first rate experience at Maweni Beach House. Firstly, it’s a beautiful building with lots of features and character. The grounds are beautiful and feature big old Baobab trees, cactus’ and plants all of which attract butterflies and birds.
The pool is excellent and a tonic to the heat. It’s was kept clean throughout our stay and provided endless delight to kids and adults alike.
The staff were also exemplary. A huge thank you to Onesmas, Kahuru, Kedenge, Emmanuel and Pherick for their care, kindness and efforts. We felt extremely well looked after and felt they all did a wonderful job on our behalf.
Overall, it was an absolute privilege to stay at the house.
The beach was very nice with white sand. Sadly, there was a lot of litter and microplastics evident. Obviously, micro plastic is a global issue that needs global Governmental focus. But I did wonder whether the wealthy beach houses on that stretch of beach could maybe organise some litter picking? Provide someone a job a day a week or month to remove the litter and improve the beach. Good for the beach, the guests and the person who earns a few shillings etc.
Anyway, a perfect stay and one I will...
