You go to Mua Hills if you are looking for a serene and quiet getaway. It is tacked away about 55 minutes from Nairobi. The cottages are lovely and strategically placed to be able to see either the sunrise/sunset from your room. At night you can catch a clear glimpse of Athi River. The network is not very stable which is not necessarily a problem because you get to recharge fully with no distractions. They have a nice swimming pool and the food was good with a decent variety. Mua hills was very beautiful that we decided to book a room for the night.    Read moreThe road was rough for my small car, however it was worth the trip. Beautiful gardens and great views all the way to Ngong Hills and probably Mt Kenya on a clear day. The service was great and fresh tasty food. We ordered the grilled platter and the goat meat was very soft and the French fries were fresh and crispy on top and soft and fluffy inside. The wine was also good, they gave us a South African Merlot that paired beautifully with the meat.
