Nzuri House — Hotel in Kinanie ward

We had our Christmas holidays here and As a family we are used to travel to wonderful places unfortunately this was one of the worst we booked through our tour agent who was also misguided by the lady owner we had agreed on one cottage where we would stay as a family and be able to cook for ourselves and our agent had travelled there and discussed with the lady and they had agreed however upon arriving we were oven for different cottages and we were not allowed to cook for ourselves ,upon arrival the lady told us to leave our food staff at the kitchen and that they would cook for us whenever we need we had a back and forth pull but eventually we came to a small agreement and the next day we asked for all our food staff and we were providing for the chef what we need to be prepared for us , the lady (owner I found her abit nosy passing by our cottages all the time wanting to know what we were up to) there was no activity to be done as advertised, the swimming pool was clean but very very cold . All in all the staff was good the room attendants were also good and helpful the husband gentleman to the lady was very friendly and welcoming . This is one amazing and peaceful getaway space, an hours drive from the capital, along Mombasa Nairobi highway just after Manzoni. Very simple, tranquil and homely ambiance and beautiful aesthetics. Comfortable self contained accomodation within individual thatched huts 🛖 with ample space, hot showers and a kitchen. Very nice swimming pool. They make very delicious and soft Mbuzi choma.
