I spent nearly five days here during the heroes day weeken this October in 2023. Located in Kirinyaga a few hours from Mount Kenya, Havila is a useful destination from the exertions of Nairobi and other metropolis in Kenya.
The proprietor Mr Chege and his wife are determined to turn the nature park into a health resort. They wish to tap into the health tourism subsector in the country.
Havila sits on a large expanse of land through which the Tana river flows. Indeed it is at the club house that the river displays spectacularly.
