Great place to visit with friends and family although it needs a little upgrade. They sell I kilo ostrich meat at around Ksh.5000. It's delicious and other local dishes. Their service is great. Riding an ostrich is Ksh.500 per person. I found that to be a little pricey but it was okay. One can camp here as well. Not sure if there are rooms available. Ostrich eggs are Ksh.2000 each plus a you are issued a permit. If you are planning to come here from Nairobi come early as it is a two or hour drive and it may get very dark in the night as their is no lighting or proper signage. This place has a lot of potential I hope they improves their infrastructure and much more. Come with raincoats and gumboots as the weather and terrain might change depending...

It is a very great place. Being 6'4 tall, I got to hang out with family. It was a very special moment for me ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ On a serious note though, the Masaai ostrich farm is a beautiful place. It is a hidden gem in Kitengela. The ostriches are such magestic creatures. There are trained staff who can help with anything. In case you may be interested in getting an ostrich ride, it can be organised and done at a fee. The farm has a swimming pool too. Once done with checking out the ostriches, swimming is available at a fee. The only problem is that there are bees on a tree next to the pool and they can end up stinging if provoked. I wish the management could do more and ensure that the bees have been moved to a...

The ostrich farm tour was done quite well by our guide. He was very knowledgeable and my children loved seeing the different age groups of animals. However, the resort itself that sits on the property is in very poor shape. They were doing renovations when we were there, and I can understand why. The playground was unsafe and dangerous for the children. There were so many broken structures. Bottle caps were everywhere on the ground, so much so that my boys made a game to see who could collect the most. There isn't anything else to do on the property, so once you see the ostriches, it's a long ride back to the city or wherever else...

The ostrich walk tour was very interesting and extremely educative. The place is quite far but the trip gives off roadtrip vibes, so extremely worth it. It seems like the place has seen better days but it's still a fun experience all together and you can buy exotic ostrich meat, eggs, feathers and they'll give you the necessary permits. You could also buy an ostrich if you acquire the right permits from KWS beforehand. Overall, it was an extremely budget friendly unique and interesting experience.

I'll mis kitengela because of this place! I visited the Maasai Ostrich Resort and let me tell you, it's a wild ride! ๐Ÿฆฉ Picture this: ostriches strutting around like they own the place while I awkwardly try to blend in. The food? A feast fit for a kingโ€”if that king was a bird lover! ๐Ÿ˜‚ The staff's hospitality made me feel like family, even if I was the weird cousin who talks to birds. ๐Ÿฅณ Highly recommend for anyone who wants a dose of nature and a side of laughter!
