The location is strategic. The place is calm. Storytime... I arrived at 10am, it was drizzling the afande at the gate waved at me smiling (he loves his job).
I walked straight to the reception since the place is big and I felt like I would get lost. I met the admin, a friendly lady in specs (Great customer service) I wish I could remember her name. A very friendly lady. I was meeting with my colleague to edit a video so we wanted a place with less noise (There was music playing on one side of the hotel)
She led me to a gazebo (I was shocked that the place was actually silent). My colleague arrived and we edited the video till late. They checked up on us every shift change.
I ordered dawa and my colleague ordered lemon tea. The dawa was excellent! My colleague asked 'Kwani wakona bee hives? Hii asali ni mingi' the lemon tea was Excellent!
After we had finished my colleague wanted to get a view of the hotel and a friendly attendant I think his name showed us around the place.

I asked for tonic from another waiter and she had no clue what gibberish i was talking. Worse of all....you must walk from your table and spot a waiter then whistle to draw his/her attention to get served.
Worse of all, bar poorly stocked, no tonic, ale, some beer brands etc. What a wasted opportunity for...
