A wonderful hidden gem in Kiwayu that is off the beaten track.
The hosts Mike and Caroline were amazing. Mike had his interesting stories to share, whilst Caroline was very warm, friendly with a great humour making you feel at home.
There was definitely a homely feel, whereby all guests got to know each other, eat together and this really enhances the experience.
Lots of water activities to try, with Rueben being great.
The beach was almost entirely for ourselves and awesome sand and waves.
This place is NOT your 5 star place, and instead makes you appreciate nature and in line with the cultural feel of the area, with open windows with amazing views, basic toilets and showers.
There is a lot of walking, so be ready to build your steps.
For food, they made a great effort to manage our diets for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free - however, would ask extra care, as sometimes these were mixed up.
