The hotel is in a wonderful situation, with fabulous views of Mt Kilimanjaro just over the Tanzania border. Moses Buli, the owner, was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, meeting me off the new SGR train at Emali station, & then driving me to Oloitokitok. The next day, his driver Sami took me on a tour of Tsavo West NP & Mzima Springs, etc. During the following 3 days, Sami drove me over the border to Marangu, & then to Moshi & Arusha. Both Moses & Sami (& Margaret the receptionist) were all really helpful, & have clearly worked hard to make their hotel a success. The room & the food were both fine. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to stay in Oloitokitok - & it is certainly much better value than staying in any of the wildly over-priced game lodges in the nearby...
