Our stay at Maisha Sweetwaters Camp was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm hospitality, incredible attention to detail, and the genuine care shown by every member of the team.
The staff were simply outstanding – going above and beyond to make our experience truly special. A heartfelt thank you to Mercyline, our wonderful waiter, who was always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed with a smile. Chef John was phenomenal – he catered to all our dietary preferences and allergies with such skill and care that every meal felt personally crafted. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented.
We were celebrating my mum’s 50th birthday, and the team made it a moment we’ll never forget. They put on a special show for us, and their warmth and enthusiasm made the celebration deeply meaningful. It wasn’t just a performance – it was a gesture of genuine kindness and joy.
The attention to detail throughout our stay was remarkable, from the personalized service to the seamless organisation of our game drives. A special mention to Brenda, a fantastic host who made us feel at home from day one. We were also incredibly grateful for the accommodation provided for our drivers, ensuring they were well-rested and cared for too – a level of thoughtfulness you rarely see.
Nicholas, our ranger, was amazing. He made sure we always felt safe, especially at night when walking back to our rooms. His knowledge of the local wildlife and area added so much to our experience, and his calm presence gave our whole family peace of mind.
To top it off, the massages were blissful – the perfect way to unwind and relax amid such serene surroundings.

My stay at Maisha Sweetwaters Lodge on 18th Jan ‘25 was truly delightful.
Staff & Service: The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist added a personal touch to the stay.
Food: The food was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. Every meal was well-prepared and flavorful. They have wide variety of vegetarian menu.
Rooms & Amenities: The rooms are very spacious, providing ample comfort. They come equipped with all necessary amenities, including fans, which are especially helpful on hot days.
Location: The lodge is ideally located in a serene and quiet environment within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. It’s just a 20-minute drive from Rongai Gate, making it very accessible for guests. The peaceful surroundings make it perfect for relaxation and wildlife viewing.
