This hotel is NOT five star luxury. It is basic but very affordable and kept very clean with always smiling and helpful staff. The rooms have all you need for a very low budget stay overnight (approx £20 per double room incl breakfast), a bed, a table and chair, and a toilet with a traditional low power hot shower. At the front there is a small restaurant that also serves as the breakfast room, the reception, and a very reasonably priced curio/souvenir shop with good quality beads and wood carvings. The veranda is shaded and it is a great place to sit with a cold soda and watch life pass by, see photo. The rooms are at the back within a courtyard that is locked up at night for security, and there is a guard at night. For a small extra amount you can have your clothes washed, dried and ironed, or you can borrow a bucket, do it yourself and dry your laundry on the washing lines in the courtyard. We return to this hotel every year, and we are never disappointed! I have rated it four and not five stars, because there sometimes is a very low water pressure, but most of the times it is just a matter of asking the staff if they could wait just two minutes with doing the laundry, so that I can get my shower first. There are lots of pictures online, so I have only uploaded one, my favourite view from...

If you ever find yourself stuck at the said establishment, say you have car trouble, posted at the town for work or just plain dropped from the sky...I'd suggest you keep going...walk,slide,stowaway in a truck to Naivasha,Narok or Nairobi...stayed there twice...rainy and dry season...conditions remain the same.whats with the power outages in the town that the hotel wont tell you about, and the rooms....well I'll leave the pics for you...the toilet??in that specific room, and TV...how am I to get power?keep...

Average. Food is 2/10. Services 3/10. I was pretty much annoyed the male waiter hiking food prices for me. They had a buffet setting but I asked for a plate of fries, he lied to me they only do buffet and it's 1000 per person. Food is Average and it was only white rice beef and cabbages. After eating and paying I learnt food was 500ksh. I was mad and ofcourse needed explanation why he had to double charge me. Okay I was refunded but I felt bad because honestly the food was...

We stopped here with the budget safari company I was with for lunch. The food is barely edible and tasteless. The Wi-Fi connection weak even though they've put free WiFi signs everywhere. Stop and eat only if you really have to or forced (included in an organized trip) I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Stopped here for lunch on our drive from Maasai Mara to Nairobi. The buffet has a small selection of foods: rice, potatoes, chapati, lentils, cabbage, pork stew, and fresh fruit. The chapati is cold and dry, and the rice a bit undercooked. Not the best, but does the job of filling the stomach.

Great quick service, you can order in advance for example we ordered Nyama choma on our trip back, It was well done 👏. They have a buffet service for both vegetarian and non-vegetarians. Clean restrooms and ample parking.
