In a nutshell: stay elsewhere if you want to get a good night's sleep.||The camp grounds look nice upon arrival, but that's where the positives end.||The tented rooms are not heated (and no portable heaters are available) and are not insulated, so if it's 10°C outside, that's going to be the temperature in your room. Hot water bottles are provided to warm up the bed, but the effect is very short lived, and it gets very cold during the night.||The place is very noisy. Dogs were barking incessantly until past midnight, and I was awakened by blasting, pounding music before 06:00 am (I was told it was a local church, but it seems strange on a Thursday).||My tented room had a clogged shower drain and the bathroom floor quickly got flooded. How housekeeping didn't notice when they cleaned the shower (if they cleaned it) is a mystery.||I was then moved to a room, also without heat, where the hot water was barely more than a trickle.||Bed and pillows were comfortable. Amenities included an electric kettle (which didn't work well). There was a power outlet near the bed, albeit occupied. ||There was wifi in the room, albeit extremely weak.||Breakfast to order, very limited...
Read moreI had a terrible experience with the service. The food was disappointing, our lunch fish was burnt, and for dinner, we were served cold mutton that had clearly been reheated. The rice was also half-cooked. When we went to our rooms, the receptionist, Pauline, left without handing over important details to the next staff member after her shift. Since our check-in, we were told to wait while the rooms were being cleaned after previous guests left, even though we had booked via WhatsApp. We were eventually taken to an available room, but it had a cold shower and a non-functioning TV. During dinner, we had to ask multiple times before finally getting the Wi-Fi password. The most frustrating part was the billing. The price we agreed on,and for which we had a quotation, was not what we were charged in the morning. They overcharged us, and when we raised the issue, the manager refused to listen to our concerns, despite having the quotation on hand. I would not recommend this place. It’s not worth your money,go at...
Read morePlease take heed from our experience and do not book this place! Lake Naivasha has so many other decent options.||We were booked to stay here for one night but ended up leaving the camp within a few minutes of checking our rooms. The moment you walk into the reception there is a smell like the place has not been cleaned for a long time. There is little positive other than the wait staff - the rooms are dark, dingy and dirty. There was a spider in our room. It looked completely isolated even though this is peak season. It's not on Lake Naivasha but about 40 minutes from anywhere you can see the lake. ||The restaurant food menu is very limited. I don't eat meat and there was just one thing I could order off the menu....
