I give the lodge a three-star because it lacked the feel of home away from home. The place has friendly staff, but there is a need for customer relations training. The room was clean, but it lacked a few things like a bedside table on one side, there were no face towels (maybe I missed the memo), and the drying rug for when one is from the shower was missing. Overall, the room can use a little more detail. Breakfast was okay. The location is quite a distance from the main road, which was okay since there was not much noise. I think something is missing. We always stay at Miryam Village Inn when visiting Kenya for Build African Schools (BAS). We are a nonprofit dedicated to building schools in rural communities. Each visit, we are welcomed with warmth and hospitality from the incredibly friendly and courteous staff.

The lodge is immaculately clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, providing a perfect place to rest after long days in the field. The food, though simple, is always fresh, delicious, and satisfying—a true testament to Kenyan hospitality.

The place is quite beautiful, they have a beautiful garden set up going on. The waiters are too slow and have this attitude thing going. I remember asking for water and nobody could bring me a bottle of water. I asked 4 times and finally got the water one hour later. We were in a event as a group and they restricted photos and videos, I mean the photos could market the place so I wasn't sure what was going on.
