Jambo! We stayed for 3 nights, but we wished we stayed here longer. Upon arriving to the site I was excited to see how our 'glamping' room would look like. We were welcomed with fresh wet towel and a glass of delicious mango juice. As we entered our tent, the room looks really nice, clean, and the bed was super comfy! Our room was next to a river where there's literally 8 hippos in the water at once. They do make  loud noises at night, but lucky for me I can sleep really deep so I wasn't awoken by them at all. It is the nature, you can't tell the hippos to shut up anyway so my husband and I didn't mind the noises. The meals we had at their restaurant were all very tasty and enjoyable. They cook proper (English) breakfast to order, and for lunch they provided 3 course meal and 4 course meal for dinner. Our waiter and waitresses seemed to be professional. They introduced their names to us, and explained what meals we would have for each courses before they started serving. I used to be a manager of a restaurant and I can see that they always served the lady first, etc. I wouldn't expect this kind of service in the middle of a jungle, but I appreciate their effort! The only 2 criticisms I have was the tap and shower water. They do smell however we were given complimentary drinking water bottles for us to brush our teeth. Also there is no way to lock our room when we spend the whole day doing our safari rides. Everywhere I go in the world I would always want to make sure my belongings are safe, but I believe I could trust these guys to protect our belongings whilst we were out and about. We had to leave at 3AM in the morning to catch our flight in Nairobi. Expecting to only have apples for breakfast, which I don't mind, they actually prepared us proper breakfast meal, packed neatly in a box so that we can have it on the way! I wouldn't expect for them to wake up so early to make us breakfast. This was a very good last impression of the staff here. They also helped us to drive out until we passed the river as it is dangerous to drive at night. We had to get a special license for us to drive in the dark and the staff were very helpful in assisting us. Overall we both enjoyed our stay at the camp. Everyone we met were so friendly and made us felt at home. I will recommend my friends and family to stay here should they decide to come to do safari in Maasai Mara. Asante!

The location might be idyllic but the facilities are mediocre and outrageously over priced . Stayed 4 nights. Became very ill from the food on the 1st night. All 4 other guests there at the same time complained about the same fate. We all ended up having toast and tea or coffee 3 times a day as meals. Staff try their absolute best but management is totally MIA. Not as advertised! Also very far to drive on a terribly bad road to enter the Mara at Oloololo Gate. Wasted hours of driving. Thanks to our guide gameviewing on this side of the Mara river was good. BUT ,he also suggested that it is best to rather stay in the Mara Triangle

Very scary experience. Right on the bank of Mara infested with thousands of massive crocodiles and Hippos. As far as service is considered, even fundamental needs like drinking water is not supported. Ridiculously low food choices. But whatever they served tasted good. Security is a huge issue. Strongly not recommended for families, elderly people and travellers with blood pressure, weak heart and diabetic issues. Make sure your insurance covers risk from insane adventure. All the pictures taken from the room. Except for Hippos killing Crocodile pictures, remaining ones taken with ordinary mobile phone

Let's start with masai mara . It's a heaven on earth . A must visit at least once . It's like a lion king movie come alive before you. The animals in their natural habitat are far more majestic than seen in any zoo . The clear skies , lush green meadows , the mara river ... It's all like paradise. The majestic lion The real king , The smaller but beautiful cheetahs, The large but so quiet and calm elephants , The most amazing animals The giraffe, The wicked hyenas, The Happy hippos, The cunning crocodiles and the cute zebras . It's all their and much more. ||And if u go to masai stay at mara eden . It's just next to the mara river and u can actually hear the gushing river and the hippos from ur tent . The tents are very comfortable. The staff is amazing. Especially John who works so hard to make the guests comfortable . They pack delicious bfast and serve lunch and dinner with warmth . A special mention of Mike the gate keeper who was so ever smiling and welcoming that it would make anyone cheer up . Our kids loved him . ||So masai mara should surely be in ones bucket list and mara eden should be your camp site . Our tour guide was beyond wild by mihir and Camila. Our driver cum guide was tony who was amazing. ||So mara mara ,...

This place is amazing. A perfect combination between a hidden corner that is totally part of nature, and a luxurios and beautiful hotel.|The tent-rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautiful. The rooms have a big and pleasant shower. Good water presure and very hot water. |We had reasonable cellular reception in the room and there is wifi at the reception area (where you have a nice area to sit).|The rooms are right by the river, where you can see hippos and crocodiles.|The service is wonderful. Many workers, and all are welcoming and always trying to help and take care of every need.|Every little detail is thought of, up until a hot water bottle that they put in your bed in the evening, so you won't be cold at night.|The food (a la carte) is the best we ate in Kenya. Looks and tastes like a gourmet restaurant. And they are willing to make any adjustments and special requests you might have. |There is also a bar with a veriaty of drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic.|Bottom line - a perfect choice to stay in the Mara...
