I stayed at the Olumara Camp with my friends at the start of September 2023/end Of August 2023 for 2 nights - I wish I could have stayed longer!||The tents/lodges are extremely spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the whole accommodation was much better than I had hoped for.||The best part of it however was the staff. We got there quite late on Saturday afternoon, despite having left Nairobi at 7am, as we stopped to visit a Masai Town which wasn't originally planned. The staff waited for us with our lunch ready and warm (although it was almost 4pm by the time we got there) with the bigest of smiles. The food, made by "Mr Yumyum" was absolutely fantastic. He explained to us he had been trying out western recipes to ensure we would like the food during our stay - how kind is that?! (though I told him I would have loved some Kenyan food! as I was sure he would have made an amazing spread also).||We were safe as at all times there were Masais and other staff members keeping an eye out, day and night. They treated us with the best service I have had in a long time. It was like visiting family - so welcoming, so loving... I really hope I can go back one day.||Mr Yumyum even gave me my own Swahili name, which meant "Joy lady", and which I wrote down to ensure I never forget.||Thanks to you all for such a wonderful stay. And to you, reader, I hope you choose this camp, and I hope you enjoy your stay just as...

The location is excellent—conveniently close to the Olare Motorogi Conservancy. The staff were absolutely fantastic, and the food was fresh. You definitely get that authentic bush experience. The rooms are spacious and have a charming, rustic feel that blends well with the surroundings.||One area for improvement could be the food variety. However, I understand this might be due to us traveling during the low season, with fewer guests around, which may have affected the menu options. If anything can be done about the salty water, that would also be a plus.|Would I recommend this place? Definitely. Would I consider coming back? Absolutely—but next time, I’d prefer visiting during the peak season. The nights can get extremely cold in the off-season, though thankfully, there were enough blankets to keep us warm—quite the experience!|A big thank you to the Olumara team—especially Brian Odira—and to the amazing driver guides, Teddy and Jagero. Job well done, and may you...
