Good hotel by the standards of a small town in Western Kenya I've spent time here since the hotel was first built from the early 90s I have fond memories of the early days. The food and service are excellent The rooms are OK but poorly designed. Maybe there was no proper architectural design done or followed.. The shower room and toilet were both not lockable. And the toilet had no water facility for washing hands nor for Asian users.. The worst part of the hotel is the all night long church noise from the adjacent plot...one cannot sleep with that din!!! This was terrible!!! The pool was a welcome entertainment but again the operators played loud music for all and sundry from the poolside!! Thus there is no quiet spot to enjoy some peace. But overall the hotel was OK....for lack of a better alternative. If the management needs my input to spruce things up ... I am ready to guide +254722518841

If you grew up in Webuye, ParkVilla was once the gold standard — a place of pride, prestige, and memories during the peak of PanPaper Mills’ heyday. It was the go-to spot for good food, elegant stays, and a vibrant social scene. Today, sadly, it stands as a shadow of its former self — rundown, seemingly abandoned, and desperately clasping onto faded glory. The charm is gone, and what remains is a shell that urgently needs structural, aesthetic, and managerial resuscitation. It’s heartbreaking to witness such a historic icon in this state. A complete revival — not just cosmetic touch-ups — is needed to restore ParkVilla to even a fraction of what it once was. Here's hoping someone with vision and resources steps in. Webuye deserves better.

Park villa hotel is located in Webuye town just after the junction off the road to Malaba. It is a small but decently kept place. It is not elegant by any stretch of the imagination but it is neat and tidy. I did not sleep here but had a meal of ugali, chicken and vegetables. The food was ok. The portion sizes could have been better given this is a rural town. The service was very good. It seems to be a fairly decent place for a person on a tight budget
