Hello! So a group of friends and acquaintances came together and decided to go for a mini road trip from Nairobi to Elementaita main purpose for our visit was the Sunday brunch. Then we checked in to our cottage which we had booked earlier. The cottage was pretty much the best idea since we had time to bond, chart and enjoy a couple of drinks. It is a cottage with a kitchenette and we had the opportunity to make dinner for ourselves since we had a few challenges when it came to the in house menu some food items were over priced like UGALI!! and the one in charge said that they did not have enough man power to cook food for everyone. That made me question the management because what do you mean by that?? It did not make any sense.|The rooms were amazing I thought that it would be cold but that wasn't the case. The bedding were fresh and well spread.|Another issue that i would like to address is the fact that they have dogs in the premises,, I'm not against dogs or pets but the problem comes in when i noticed that they had ticks and they looked sickly eh! that is a red flag. I'd urge the establishment to take care of their dogs.|Sunday brunch. well we went for the brunch pretty late because we were chilling by the pool. Their buffet section needs a little bit of improvement from how the arrange their food items to how they delivered.|I would like to conclude and say that the venue is very beautiful especially the out doors because of the lake and natural...

Lemon Valley is a quirky lodge perched on the hills with a super view over Lake Elementaita. Communication with the property was excellent and it is easy to find.||Cabins range in sizes and are converted shipping containers. They are all quite a walk from the main areas but are well appointed and facing the lake - 10/10 for the view. Showers were not hot in any of our 4 cabins, maybe they should be turned on longer? There is also camping available. The pool is on the ridge, again an amazing view, although only 3 sun beds - really not enough.||We had an exceptionally long wait for lunch - we found out in the hotel guide later than an up to 2 hour wait for food is ā€˜normal’ due to fresh ingredients being sourced from the farm... don’t think that’s actually appropriate.||Our dinner order include olives on a pizza that were not asked for. But the rest of the meals were tasty, fresh and large portions. |Breakfast buffet was great. |We were on resident rates which made it...

The artistic feel of the set up alongside panoramic landscape views were amazing. The director Nancy and her staff were really friendly, going out of their way to do room birthday decor as well as a birthday highlight breakfast for us. The views from the tented cottage balcony, birds chirping to wake us up, the closeness of the bush, delicious breakfast all made the place extra appealing. There weren't many guests perhaps because it was off season when we visited but we certainly enjoyed lemon valley. We brought with us warm jackets which came in handy as it can get quite chilly in the evenings but the management provides hot water bottles in bed,an extra blanket and an option of a fire if your are the type of person who gets too cold. Very ideal get away, private and not too far from a wide array of places to tour while also offering a wide menu of inhouse activities for both adults...

Peaceful and serene, this destination is perfect for nature lovers. The accommodation options are diverse, and I stayed in the cabin—which was absolutely beautiful. Nestled in the mountains, be prepared for higher altitudes and pack warm clothing. Thoughtfully, the staff provided hot water bottles to keep us cozy. I especially appreciated the showers, hot water was available in under two minutes! The food was fresh, served in generous portions, and the menu offered a wide variety of flavors to suit different tastes. There’s no shortage of activities to keep you engaged, but I also found the perfect opportunity to slow down and reflect. I spent time journaling, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. It truly was the ideal getaway, restorative, inspiring, and beautifully serene.

This place was a treat! The food was absolutely spot on and the portions were actually*too much*. The service from the likes of Bosire and Steve were impeccable. They are so kind. Even the rates for the activities have been broken down to 500 Shillings which is one of the most affordable rates for doing any sort of activity right now. This applied to 15 minutes of Quad biking, ziplining and a tour of the farm. Lastly, the rooms. My experience with the glamping tents was fantastic. They are well kept and offer majestic views of Lake Elementaita. To be honest, I rarely go to places that have zero room for improvement but this might just have been one of them.

The location at the resort where I was, is not a farm resort but an resort consisting three tent cottages (KES 4.500 per night per person excl. breakfast etc.); small swimming pool; a terrain that is perfect for wedding parties because of magnificent view over Lake Elementaita; a restaurant, a very welcoming lounge-style cafe; a large but ugly tent-style structure for dinner party. The resort is not suitable for staying longer than 3 days. Be aware that payments are only in M-Pesa, and that they charge per person for bringing food and that they charge you for bringing drinks per bottle. Both when you are not in the mentioned establishments.
