Exceptional Stay at The Peak Hotel and Heartfelt Thanks

It was a genuine pleasure to stay at The Peak Hotel recently. We wanted to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation for the outstanding hospitality we experienced throughout our visit.

From the very beginning, the booking process was seamless thanks to Brian, your Reservation Manager. His exceptional kindness and helpfulness were greatly appreciated and set a positive tone for our stay.

The room arranged for us was excellent, spacious, very comfortable and equipped with all the amenities we needed. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's facilities. The health club is impressively well-equipped, and the staff there were notably professional. We were particularly pleased with Steve at the swimming pool, whose helpfulness, kindness, and welcoming attitude made our children feel especially comfortable.

Our dining experiences were consistently excellent, largely due to the warm and courteous service provided by your waitstaff. Our waitress Mitch, deserves special recognition. She was consistently friendly, professional, kind, supportive, and remarkably attentive to detail. Her intuitive understanding of our children's needs and her dedication to ensuring everything was perfect significantly enhanced our meals.

We were also delighted to have the opportunity to meet Chef Marcus, who personally greeted us after preparing a truly delicious meal. His humble and friendly manner with our whole family was very much appreciated. Additionally Ben one of your managers was equally welcoming and kind during our interactions.

The consistent quality of service, the superb facilities, and the genuine warmth demonstrated by your team members; Brian, Steve, Mitch, Chef Marcus, and Ben made our stay truly memorable. Everything was indeed top notch.

Please extend our thanks to the entire team. We will have no hesitation in highly recommending The Peak Hotel to our family and friends. We are coming back soon!

Thank you once again for your exceptional service and for contributing to such a...

We live in Nanyuki and decided to visit this establishment with our family and friends to enjoy its swimming pool and food offerings. Unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations, and we left disappointed.||Here are the reasons why this cannot be considered a 4-star hotel:||1. Invasive Registration Process|Guests are required to expose personal details by filling out a registration book at the pool desk—a practice that raises privacy concerns.||2. Poor Payment Communication|Payments are exclusively accepted via Mpesa, and this is communicated through an inconspicuous A4 sheet printed in small font and posted inside the desk.||3. Towel Availability|Towels were not provided unless requested multiple times from the attendant, which caused unnecessary inconvenience.||4. Limited and Inconvenient Dining Options|On December 24th, the only dining option was a buffet located outside the swimming pool area. No alternative menu options for children (e.g., chicken and chips) were available, and guests could not enjoy beverages by the pool while supervising their children. Forcing guests to pay Ksh 3,500 for an unsatisfactory buffet far from the pool is unacceptable.||5. Lack of Entertainment|There was no music or ambiance, making the experience dull and uninviting.||6. Unheated Pool|The swimming pool, which is advertised as heated, was extremely cold, leaving children visibly shaking. At an altitude of 1,950 meters, a properly heated pool should be a priority for guest comfort.||Overall, the service quality, lack of proper facilities, and poor guest experience do not align with the standards of a 4-star property. Significant improvements are needed in customer service, communication, and...

Our stay at Peak Hotels Nanyuki (14th-16th August,2025) was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel right at home. Special appreciation goes to Nyawera, Denno, Gabriel, and the rest of the team, whose dedication and friendliness truly made our stay memorable. Their service is unmatched and the way they coordinated with us was simply excellent—every request was met with efficiency and a genuine smile.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and immaculately kept, offering the perfect blend of relaxation and convenience. The meals were delicious and well-prepared, giving us a wonderful taste of both local and international cuisine. One of the highlights of our evenings was gathering around the bonfire, which created such a warm and lively atmosphere for bonding and storytelling.

The leisure facilities at Peak Hotels are impressive and cater to all needs. We enjoyed the refreshing swimming pool, the relaxing sauna and steam bath, and the well-equipped gym room, which added a nice balance of wellness to our stay.

Peak Hotels Nanyuki exceeded our expectations in every way. It is a place where comfort, relaxation, and exceptional service come together beautifully. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nanyuki and we as Marony Travels look forward to...

I passed by the restaurant with my partner for an evening coffee.. only our table and another were occupied. The service was great.. the lighting and ambiance were cool too and inviting for dinner.. while having our coffee we ordered for the soup of the day (to be our starter) and hopefully have dinner there (sometimes we done one of those long dinners.. Everything was going great until some foreign nationals got into the restaurant.. the waiters switched on all the lights, the moonlight, the wall brackets, the downlighters, and the restaurant was vividly bright, changing the mood instantly.. I requested the waiter to switch off some of the lights on out corner.. they said sure.. but they never did.. he did not want to offend the mzungus.. I decided not to take the soup of the day while squinting my eyes.. so we paid for the coffee and left the soup.. they may stay with their lights.. So the service is great, until mzungus show up and as a local you get profiled.

Perhaps among the good ones in Nanyuki, Peaks Hotel, Nanyuki is a good joint with great value for your time and money. You can enjoy sumptuous food, good service, great accommodation, and some wonderful time overlooking the majestic Mt. Kenya. If you wish to explore the Kenyan town where the railway line ended at, get a chance to explore Nanyuki too. Make a point of dropping by over the weekend and enjoy the serenity Peaks Hotel Nanyuki offers while you also explore Nanyuki. Planning another staycation there Psst, kuna mpaka fombe

The hotel is conveniently located near Nanyuki Town and off the main A2 road, making it easily accessible. The rooms were large, and we got a room with a view of Mount Kenya, which was nice. The food was excellently prepared, and the server, Michelle, was exceptionally helpful. The showers were hot, but needed some time to fully warm up. We got to use the pool, and it was clean, large and well laid out. The staff were also keen to show us the zipline and outdoor fitness area. The food was great, definitely a highlight.
