Kika Lodge — Hotel in Morendat ward

Too expensive and you don’t get value for your money. |Only one meal on the menu which takes ages to be ready but very flat. What you are served for lunch is what you get for dinner with a basic breakfast which cannot be tailored to your preference. Meanwhile they claim to have a special menu for the day or you do an alacarte with a menu that is poorly presented.|We ask for fresh juice to be served for breakfast and they say the don’t have unless the serve is one that is to be diluted. Didn't stay here but tried the restaurant. Don't waste your time if looking for food. Arrived with a party of 5, tried to sit on the 1st floor deck,but the "host" pointed to the upstairs area of the restaurant and told us to find a table. We walked upstairs and there were no tables for a party of 5. So I walked back downstairs and opened the deck wall and sat on picnic tables located on the deck. The deck was nice but the view was surrounded by overgrown bushes and trees that haven't been trimmed in quite some time, the pictures from the website are decieving. Our waiter brought us 1 menu for 5 people even though we were the only people here.Tried to order food,but only had a few items from the menu available. So we all ordered grilled chicken breast with vegetables and chips. The waiter came back 5 mins later and said they did not have potatoes for chips. Excellent food, very clean, great service. The rooms are semi tent and semi concrete with a very nice feel and facing a late sunrise over a hill. Accessible with any car easily. Note it has the open concept washroom blend in to the room which is done well but still not for everyone. The immediate area lacks activities and spectacular views for good views but its placed very centrally to all the major rift valley attractions for which hour long drives are needed.
