Golden Palm Breeze Hotel Kenol — Hotel in Murang'a County

I was much impressed by the manicured lawns behind the rooms, In my mind I was rolling and rolling on the grass. The rooms formed no first impression, but they are clean and serene (mosquitoes were really pissed the mosquito net), this is what I needed to focus on my work... and then again you cannot get better for a resident rate of $20 (bed only). The grilled meats were great (Goat and Chicken) and well priced. Night life is missing, but day life is cupped with a gym and a swimming pool. I recommend improving the rooms to above average (modernize the bathroom, closet and remove the plastic seat); provide a hot beverage complimentary set in the room, and get Safaricom fiber to guarantee non-intermittent internet....

I have been here a number of times and the last two times including today's visit was disappointing. Today's experience at the playground area was the worst food delay I have encountered. When we ordered we asked the waiter whether food was ready and she assured us all food was ready and it would take us 10 to 20 minutes for the food to be served. One hour later we were still waiting...and the waiter kept avoiding our area. Only until we gave them an ultimatum that we would be leaving if food delayed by another 10 minutes were we finally served with only 2 minutes to spare...I would not recommend it if you are...

Cool place when you want wind down..a small waterfall in the background soothes your mind when you sit outside in the garden space.

Food was super yummy.....they seem to have some good chefs.

And prices are pretty standard - it's within the range of what you can expect to pay when patronizing hotels in this class.

Location: Right on the highway to Murang'a, and about 1km from The Nairobi - Nyeri dual carriage. You can get lost!

What else? Oh, the general ambience is just cool...unless you visit during one of those weekend days they have mugithi💃🕺
