Very cool place to have a staycation.. You are advised to book prior to dinner, accommodation etc. It is also quite a distance from the main road. Public transport may not be able to access the place easily. The road has good signage of directions.

Incredible tented boutique. Staff are so warm and friendly. The food is excellent quality and plentiful. it's a great serene retreat if you love being outdoors but still want a warm shower.

My wife, 2 young children and I spent 3 nights at Anga Afrika before starting our Kenya Safari. Everything was brilliant! I booked it directly with the owner Bernd and his P.A. Joyfridah. They were great to deal with and extremely accommodating as I searched for the best arrangements according to the flights we would take to Nairobi. We arrived late in the evening and were warmly greeted by Dinnah who escorted us to our luxury ‘Simba’ family tent. The tent was brilliant. One Queen bed and 2 singles, all warmed with hot water bottles for our arrival, and the whole tent in lion theme which our children loved. We were looked after during our time there by Julius & Michelle who arranged meal times according to our preference and were always on hand for everything we needed. We ate Breakfast every morning as well as 2 lunches & 2 dinners, the food was excellent. Real home cooking, and the chef always came to check if we were enjoying it. The gardens are stunning and the pool area beautiful, very relaxing setting. The gardeners, who also carry out security, lit a great fire at the outside seating area at 18:00. Both were Maasai from Amboseli and were more than happy to tell us stories of their home and culture. Everything was perfect. Well done to Bernd and the whole team. If I return to Nairobi I won’t even consider staying anywhere else. Hakuna...

We were a family group of 8 people with ages ranging from 15 to 60 and all had a marvelous stay at this beautiful resort/camp. We were very well treated by the very welcoming staff. We stayed here for 4 nights and they all became like family. All food is made from scratch and to order by the chef on-site and was some of the best fish we had ever eaten on our trip! Great location from which to see the major sites of Nairobi (Karen Blixen Museum, David Sheldrick sanctuary and the Giraffe Centre, etc.). Tents were immaculately clean and all had their own front private porch area with chairs. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire that was prepared each night before dinner , and enjoyed going to sleep to the local sounds of nature and wildlive, whatever they may be! Totally secure environment. It was hard to leave this wonderful group of people - Many thanks to the staff at this special jewel for making lifetime...

Stayed at this camp for one night and rented out the 2 bedroom apartment as a group of four ladies. Our weekend getaway went mostly well with warm and courteous staff. However there was a large group of other guests who kept the bonfire going and were very loud till about midnight. later at 2 am the night guard led one of the guests from the other group to our 'private' apartment and he loudly banged at our door asking for someone to move a vehicle. This not only disrupted our otherwise peaceful getaway but also made us feel very insecure and vulnerable to attack. A commotion ensued and while the staff on the ground attempted to calm the situation, the owner ignored this incident. The owner did not engage with any of us or apologise for the incident before...
