Read moreFirstly let me make it clear that my review is about rhe restaurant only, as I have no first hand experience of the hotel rooms.||||I arrived early in the evening with my wife and young son and we were greeted at the door of the practically empty restaurant by a young man in a black suit, who ushered us to a table, and gave us each a copy of the menu. I opted for something simple.... fish n chips, and was asked if I'd like garlic sauce, to which I readily accepted.||||The disappointment began the moment the food arrived, both the fish and the chips had clearly been cooked in oil that had previously been used to cook other foods such as chicken. A full ten minutes after the food had arrived at our table, I had to remind this guy about the garlic sauce. He came back with what I can only describe as looking like custard swimming in olive oil! I wasn't feeling brave enough to actually taste it!||||Sadly the owner(s) of this establishment haven't realised it's potential. It could quite possibly be transformed into one of the top ten restaurants in Nairobi, and certainly THE best in the Kahawa area. There's nothing negative I can say about the building itself, it has everything needed for a pleasant dining experience (apart from the access road to and from the bypass)||||To summarise, I'd only return if there as a vast improvement in service and staff...
Read moreI travel for business & leisure into africa regularly, 6-7 nights per month, and feel very impressed with Maple Inn in comparison to other experiences I’ve had in Africa. The website’s promise and experience align, the hotel staff is very friendly, helpful and easy to engage with in english, the room I rented was clean, bedding white and clean, shower water warm and food tasty and well prepared. ||I would strongly recommend this hotel to friends and family looking for a 3-star visit and safe stay in Nairobi, Kenya’s Maple Inn Hotel. 9.5/10 score.||The only improvement I would recommend is the upgrade of the toilet and restroom cleanliness and ventilation||I also presented a full 4 day business conference with a senior management team and the conference facilities was well equipped with technology and functional. the conference room however do not have airconditioning, and at times the room temperature was 4-5 degrees celcius too warm. I’m happy overall and will give the...
