Nairobi Airport Resthouse — Hotel in Nairobi

The dinner made by Sylvester (grilled tilapia with veggies and rice for 600ks) was exceptionally tasty and good value. (My $50/night cost did NOT include breakfast.)||||My driver to the airport was 15 minutes late collecting me, even though we had confirmed, face to face, the precise pickup time (05:30) the evening before. Then another 30 minutes reaching the airport. Allow at least an hour to reach the Nairobi Airport, even though this 'Airport Resthouse' looks nearby on the map.||||Credit card machine did not work for payment, so I had to pay in cash and then wait more than eight hours to get my change back. ||||The WiFi was just so-so, good some times, not so at others.||||The hotel itself was quiet, but there were nearby barking dogs through much of the night; you are advised to bring ear plugs here to get a good...

Am sorry but this “Resthouse” does not meet basic requirements of a Hotel. I can not recommend it...
