There’s no value for money. My boyfriend and I were charged $67 per night which was exorbitant considering hotel couldn’t deliver proper services. Contrary to what we were told at the reception, the hotel doesn’t have hot water, so for the first night we were given hot water in the buckets to shower. The shower is small and gets so messy when showering, the toilet was faulty too and could not flash. the rooms were extremely cold with no air conditioning. The breakfast was whacks and cold. The second day we requested for room change, after we complained to the manager however we experienced similar issues even after the room change. Once we returned to the hotel in the evening, the concierge couldn’t let us access the room before we paying for that night, despite expressing our desire to check out the room for any issues. The new room was small, with lukewarm water and faulty toilet. hotel management wasn’t helpful either, all the manager said was she was sorry we had a bad experience. However after reading reviews from previous guests, who experienced the similar issues with the bathroom, hot water, toilet and breakfast- I conclude that this hotel is just a scam - ripping unsuspecting guests of their money with no care at all in improving their...
Read moreThe agent mistook Park Place for the Park Inn. What a disaster as my we long meetings we're in Westlands.departure from the hotel 5:30. Hotel under construction but no one is building during the week. Wifi collapse as more guests check in. Food is inedible. Shower water need to be run for 15.min. Hotel is open all all night, security inadequate. There is one key to the room, so if either forget to drop off at reception your room will not be cleaned. Noise and music until the early hours of the morning. Food and bar billing system is manual, be careful when someone offers drinks - you'll end up paying for it. The rooms are small, outdated. The shower does not have a divider to the rest of the bathroom. This hotel is inadequately equipped to occupy anyone. The staff are incredibly lovely but are uncompromising. I paid in advance for my dinner and requested a refund as i would be eating elsewhere - it's too complicated a transaction they said. The breakfast menu is limited. Traffic is an...
Read moreI've been coming with my family to park place for a long time; my dad used to take us for their nyama choma back in the day.. I've kept up the tradition with my kids. I was there yesterday with my family (party of 6 adults, 4 kids). Just before we ordered for food we were told that the play area (consisting of around 4 equipment) was a minimum of 1000 per child. Why a minimum? Because there were rides that had to be paid for separately. I understand the idea but in my opinion this was a bit exorbitant considering what was on offer. We didn't stay. Left for somewhere else and discovered a gem in the process. Park place should really reconsider their pricing model or improve...
