We’ve booked 2 rooms for 5 nights here and would have already gone somewhere else if we hadn’t prepaid, we’ve been here less than 8 hours. They advertise “sound proof” in the rooms on the booking site we used to reserve the rooms - they are FAR from it. They are beyond loud with extremely thin walls. You can hear literally every footstep people take in the hallway, let alone the echo in the stairway that goes through the middle of the hotel where every noise is amplified. The first room they put me in had a window peering directly into the stairway. The second room has a lovely city view but the noise is still just as bad. Currently as I write this there are several guests yelling in the hallway and what sounds like a karaoke night downstairs with the bass vibrating my bed. ||||The shower was cold during the day and is finally hot at night but there isn’t a shower curtain so water goes all over the tiny bathroom creating a slipping hazard ||||The only positive thing about this hotel so far has been the staff and particularly Evelyn who understood my frustrations and worked to get me moved to a different room, though it’s not much better it’s the best she’s able to do and I appreciate her trying to make things better||||I highly recommend having security walking the halls or stairway to quiet loud guests or installing paneling of sorts to absorb some of the sound and investing in a proper water heater and shower curtains. The toiletries in the room are nice but it would be much more beneficial to have a shower curtain than a complimentary razor ||||Please save your money and go somewhere else unless you plan to be up at all hours of the night and don’t care to get a peaceful nights rest. We were really hoping to rebook this hotel for the expo we have to attend in 2 weeks but knew within an hour of being here there was absolutely no way we will ever be...

It was my pleasant surprise to discover Pori City Hotel, a modern hotel with ICT-ready meeting rooms, lodging rooms, and restaurants - all designed for business, comfort, and luxury. From its imposing stature and sparkling windows, admire the refreshing allure of the iconic Karengata neighbourhood. It stands tall astride the biodiverse park and animal orphanage that makes Nairobi a unique capital city. Not far from the culture hotspot which is Bomas of Kenya, the Galleria Mall hypermarket, key airports, and leading schools in Kenya. Tired from the winding road journeys or the long flights from the far ends of Africa, America, Asia, Oceania, Europe, etc.? Rest here and escape the city's dreaded traffic, then dash and connect conveniently to other parts of Nairobi and the rest of Kenya via the Southern Bypass or the...
