Sarova Woodlands is where Nakuru feels a touch more refined, a touch more polished, and a lot more welcoming. From the moment you step in, you’re met with modern, stylish rooms that whisper comfort and a staff so gracious it feels as though they’ve been waiting just for you. Every detail—warm smiles, immaculate spaces, thoughtful service—reminds you that this isn’t just a stay, it’s hospitality at its finest.||Among the many highlights, our gratitude goes to Pascale, our veteran waiter, and his Food & Beverage manager. Their warmth and attentiveness were remarkable, though we did leave them with one unfulfilled wish: breakfast mimosas. Not for lack of trying on their part, but because the hotel doesn’t serve champagne or sparkling wine by the glass. For a place that gets so much right, it felt like a missed note.||Here’s a thought for the future: a “House Mimosa” made with KWAL (Kenya Wine Agencies Limited) sparkling wines and fresh Kenyan orange juice. It’s local, elegant, and would give guests a reason to linger over breakfast a little longer. Stocking half-bottles of prosecco or even a classic French champagne would add to the charm. At Lantana Galu, mimosas were the morning rhythm—why not let Nakuru have the same sparkle?||Classic Mimosa Recipe (per glass):||75ml chilled sparkling wine (KWAL sparkling, prosecco, or champagne)||75ml fresh orange juice (Kenyan oranges are perfect)||Optional: splash of Grand Marnier for a citrus flourish||Sparkling Choices That Shine:||Local pride: KWAL’s Kingfisher or Palm Breeze sparkling wines||Italian ease: Crisp prosecco—light, fruity, brunch-perfect||French luxury: MoĂ«t or Bollinger, for that indulgent touch||But perhaps the most heartwarming moment came when a table nearby celebrated their daughter’s birthday. The hotel staff gathered, sang joyfully, and wished the little angel a wonderful birthday. And as if the smiles weren’t enough, slices of the most delicious chocolate cake—baked to perfection by the hotel—were shared with us as well. A sweet, unexpected gesture that turned breakfast into a memory.||Even without mimosas, our stay was exceptional—delicious meals, beautiful dĂ©cor, and warm service that keeps Sarova Woodlands close to our hearts. For us, it will always be Nakuru’s go-to stop, whether for a restful stay or simply to savor their wonderful samosas. And we’ll return soon—hopefully next time to toast the morning with a...

Great place to stay if you're travelling for business or a little pleasure in Nakuru. We were a group of friends. We stayed only one night BnB, and I loved it Very ideal for business trips or short layovers Overall 5⭐ Reception 5⭐- staff are kind and professional. This includes the security staff as well. Rooms 5⭐- we stayed in the standard rooms. Small but very cosy, squeaky clean, very very very soft bedsheets and pillow. Slept like a baby. I found out the pillows are from the UK. 🇬🇧. The toilets are clean and well-equipped. The rain shower was pleasant. Toiletries are adequate. Ask for garden facing rooms. Views are pleasant WIFi 4⭐ - I DONT USE HOTEL WIFI UNLESS ABROAD but was told is average. Breakfast 5⭐ I ordered room service. Please just look at the pictures that's all I can say A KINGS BREAKFAST 🍳. I love my eggs RUNNY. They have a restaurant but didn't try it. They also have good conferencing facilityes and loveky gardens ideal for a photo shoot Location is great just off the highway. Very near the CBD and amenities for shopping. I didn't use the pool or spa but I'm told they are good. Normal check out is 10am Courtesy extension is up to 11am I asked for late check out 1pm for 30% of room charge. I found this fair I have no faults for now. Keep it up SarovađŸ™ŒđŸŸ ill be...

I had a great time here. Absolutely amazing service and servers which are happy and willing to assist. The hotel rooms are good and comfortable and come with everything you need to be at home. The food was lovely. I enjoyed everything I had. The Leather Bar is nice and inviting while still giving a cosy feel to it. It had a wide selection of wines and other drinks. The service was fast and efficient even though we were a large group. The bathrooms on 1st floor were disappointing though 😕. The motion sensored light goes off after 5 mins even if you are still in the bathroom and it is very difficult to get back on you have to go back outside. The taps too have a sensor problem or ran out of water during our stay. All in all it was an excellent experience

Their offer a comfortable and serene experience. The rooms are modern, clean, and well-maintained, with great attention to detail. The staff is friendly and professional, providing excellent service. The hotel’s dining options are varied, with good options. The breakfast buffet is particularly good with wide variety from local cuisine, continental Europe to whichever way you would like it. Its location is convenient for accessing key attractions in Nakuru, yet quiet enough for relaxation. The hotel also features a nice facilities, perfect for unwinding. Overall, it offers a great blend of comfort and luxury for a peaceful stay.

The 4 stars Sarova Woodlands Hotel and Spa is located at Nairobi-Nakuru Highway in Nakuru just in 2.4 km from the city centre, on a wooded avenue in the upscale Milimani area adjacent to the State House. A buffet breakfast is served every morning at the property. Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant, which specialises in African and Indian cuisine. The premise organizes excursions for guests to points of interest around the property. These include Lake Bogoria, Lake Baringo, Lake Nakuru National Park and Menengai Crater.
