A very good and standard hotel located a few hundreds metres from the main Nanyuki Meru highway (Past the referral Hospital).
Here is my full review: Welcome- We were received warmly by the very courteous security staff at the gate.
Service- the service is just wonderful..the staff were quick to attend to us and they kept coming back to find out if there's anything amiss..The manager also kept passing by just in case we wanted to report anything. I really loved it.
Food- the food was descent and prepared to our specification. The chefs seems to know their art.
Kids- they have enough play/entertainment facilities for kids including a big enough swimming pool.. they kids play area may not be that big but it's sufficient for the purpose if you're looking for a place that has activities to keep your children occupied.
Garden- if you like sitting outdoors like me, I found the garden good enough. It's landscaped nicely and the seats are quite comfy..
Rooms- they have spacious and comfortable rooms if you'd like to spend the night.
Parking- it is properly marked, secured, and fairly sizeable ( it can hold nearly 20 cars).
Pricing- in general, prices are not too high though they're not the cheapest hotel in Nanyuki.
Others- there is an option of enjoying your meals/drinks around the pool area..there is an open but roofed area you can sit as you watch the swimmers.
Overall: One of the best hotels in Nanyuki. Yeah, it is fairly old but it is generally well kept.
I cannot recommend it...
Read moreOur experience started off well we were warmly received at the gate and spa, and the masseuse did an excellent job. Since there was only one masseuse on shift, we went in one after the other. While waiting, my friend had a meal at the restaurant and was served by a friendly waitress.
When I was done, I joined her as she was finishing her meal, and we decided to take a few photos. That’s when it was relayed by same waitress that taking photos in the restaurant was not allowed snd "the boss was watching on CCTV".
There was no sign anywhere prohibiting photos, and we were not photographing the restaurant but ourselves in the restaurant. We made a complaint at the reception and insisted on being addressed by the manager/boss, but we were told they were not on-site and were instead monitoring us remotely 😆.
Is there a specific code of conduct in the restaurant? If so, why is it not displayed anywhere for guests to see? By the way, was this boss also watching in the massage room? And is there a certain amount guests are expected to spend to be eligible to enjoy their stay fully?
I didn't visit your premises for surveillance and indignity. Guests deserve transparency, respect,...

The hotel also gave us free crackers that we had fun with! |We also enjoyed the gym during our stay and indulged in massages by well trained massaues ; Elvina and Catherine. ||The gardens are beautiful and well kept. A shootout also to Vision, at the reception, who we interacted with. ||Will definitely be...
