A very well-done hotel that is situated approximately 1 hour's drive from the Sekenani Gate of Maasai Mara.

Reception The reception is neat and cozy; with nice art and decor. The reception staff are friendly and very helpful. We even got breakfast packed for us early enough so we could make the sunrise game drive at the Mara.

Food The food is great. One of the first things you notice is the clean kitchen, which runs very smoothly. Chefs are all neatly dressed. The food is also affordable.

Pool The swimming pool is very clean and top-tier design and finish. I didn't get to swim, but it's definitely a main item on my next trip to the Mara.

Rooms. The rooms are very clean and very well designed. The bed is really cozy and warm. The shower is really nice and has all the essentials provided. The shower cubicle is nicely done and separates the shower from the toilet; which is also very clean as well.

Balcony The balconies all have great views. On one side, you get to view Narok Town with all its beauty. On the other side, you get to have a view of the pool area and a taste of nature, which builds up anticipation if you're on Safari.

Overall It's definitely an establishment I intend to visit again. Would...

The receptions Precious accorded me great service over the phone and I felt comfortable to book ,welcome by her and all the staff was very professional. The rooms clean, the whole place has a great vibe.Sadly our meal of chicken was overcooked and flat,we sent it back for fixing, came back worse so we declined and involved the supervisor on duty after being informed the manager was not Available. The supervisor understood and had the bill adjusted only to go settle the bill in the Morning to find it back because the manager wanted a round table meeting with us to explain what happened. It left a bad taste as we were treated with suspicion to evade a 800 bill after spending 4500 on room and more on drinks, the fact that he did not trust his supervisor on duty was a reflection of his management style, and not at any particular point did he seek our view on all the other facilities we used or offer his apologies on the meal .I offered to pay for the meal in order that we move on ,at this point we were eager to proceed with our trip.He halfheartdly wrote off the bill.instead of feeling like a guest ,I felt like I had visted the principles office. I had a wonderful stay at the Mara Frontier Hotel and i must say the staff were great, jovial and willing to give assistance! To mention a few: Hilda Mbogua was a wonderful receptionist, received me so warmly, Vivian, a patient waiter and Maina just a magical chef! The goat soup was great! Keep up the good job team! ||||The Guest Room was very clean comfortable and secure! I did not lose my valuables. It was a great idea to have music at the pool area. Towels were clean and fresh, beddings were great. ||||Everything met my expectation and the following can easily be improved;||1. No toothpaste, no brush, no lotion, provide 'em even at a fee. Don't send me to Naivas.||2. At the restaurant, there were too many flies. Maybe you should try the following: Vinegar, install several UV light traps (you have one, but it was off, i requested it to be switched on, but request hit a brickwall), sticky tape, fumigate regularly, enhance hygiene. ||3. Waiters and kitchen staff get excited and talk and laugh rather loudly. Tone down a bit. ||4. No portrait of President William Samoei Ruto at the reception. Hahaha (pun intended)||||Will i come back again? YES!||Would i recommend it to a...

Situated just 82 kilometers from the Maasai Mara, Mara Frontier Hotel offers the ideal stopover for travelers heading to or returning from the game reserve. Its strategic location makes it a perfect rest point before or after your safari adventure. The hotel offers a selection of luxury executive, deluxe, twin, and standard rooms, elevating its status as a premium destination. Each room is spacious and thoughtfully furnished, offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. The interiors combine style and practicality, with amenities such as satellite TV and complimentary Wi-Fi, ensuring both comfort and convenience throughout your stay.

We enjoyed the room atmosphere. Room service was also prompt. I was made to understand that the rooms were still not completed however I have a few qualms with the space. Provision of a hand towel and holder is lacking, a soap holder is also not available, there are wires popping out of the walls perhaps for future installation but is an eyesore, no additional pillow or bedding in the room, no hooks at the bathroom door and our biggest issue is the lack of family amenities such as a high chair and cot bed which is unfortunate.
