My recent stay at the Essence Hotel team, located along Limuru Road at Ndenderu Junction, was a delightful experience that exceeded my expectations. With its strategic location, just 200 meters from the Ndenderu Roundabout, the hotel offers easy access to both public and private transport.
The hotel provides a range of amenities that cater to various interests and needs. The on-site restaurant offers delicious and reasonably priced meals, prepared with the freshest ingredients. I particularly enjoyed their grilled chicken with a side of sautéed vegetables - the flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was top-notch. The attentive and courteous staff at the restaurant truly made for a pleasant dining experience. By the way we only paid 1500 kes for Half Chicken served with star fried rice, that’s so much affordable.
After a satisfying meal, the hotel's cozy bar proved to be the perfect spot to unwind with a drink. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and comfortable seating. The bartender was knowledgeable and helpful in recommending a lovely cocktail that complemented my evening.
In terms of accommodation, Essence Hotel offers clean and comfortable 3-star rooms. My room was spacious, well-furnished, and maintained to perfection with crisp linens and fluffy pillows. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness was truly commendable.
For those traveling for business or planning an event, the hotel's conference hall is well-equipped and conveniently located. Although I did not have the opportunity to attend an event there, I managed to catch a glimpse of the hall, and it appeared to be ideal for a range of professional meetings and gatherings.
The only minor setback was the limited parking available at the hotel. However, the attentive staff was quick to assist with finding alternative parking nearby.
Based on my overall experience, I would give Essence Hotel a rating of 4 out of 5. The exceptional service, the clean and cozy atmosphere, and the thoughtful amenities make it easily one of the best options for a comfortable stay near Ruaka or Ndenderu. My suggestion to the hotel management would be to explore parking expansion opportunities, as that would undoubtedly make the experience even more seamless for guests.
In summary, Essence Hotel is an excellent choice for travelers seeking a peaceful retreat with comfortable accommodations and convenient amenities. I look forward to my next visit and highly recommend...
Read moreGreat place to chill while having your meal. You can actually work from there.
Their staff, however, are quite slow. The lady who served us did not know the types of wines they had, whether sweet or red, she couldn't open the wine bottle and asked me to open for myself. Waited for the bill for a while because the lady that had served us had stepped out, and the ones left could not issue us the bill - should have some sort of continuity. Even if one waiter steps out, customers shouldn't have to wait to pay the bill.
They could also improve...
