The well designed property is tranquil as one drives in. It looks a bit deserted and inactive. The reception staff are aloof and impersonal providing the debrief while still behind the counter. The rooms are very spacious and thoughtfully designed with jacuzzi in every room. Sadly they forgot a full length mirror and the only one available is the bathroom mirror. The room is well lit, however 2 windows close to the bed have no curtains or blinds making it difficult to sleep because of the bright security lighting permeating from the outside. At dinner, a lonely waiter serves very well prepared tasty and fresh food. After one soda, they run out of Coke and Fanta; perhaps a testament that they rarely have guests. The cuisine did not disappoint. The evening temperature drops very fast but sadly the fire place which doesn’t look used much, is not lit. We find a hot water bottle in the wardrobe and heat water for it using the hot water kettle. The promised turn down service in the welcome letter comes when we’re already in bed past 9pm. Exceeded expectations!!!

Let's start with the outside and it's serene, nature friendly and the fact that they've gone green 💚 makes it a perfect stay. The entrance gives such a homely atmosphere.

Customer service is 10/10. The staff was extremely friendly from the checking in to checking out, the restaurant staff the chef! Thry are all very well traine! Oh how could I forget the guard at the gate? The respect he accords you when you get it?

The rooms are exclusite!! Tastefully finished and has unique details. The comfort of the bed, the hot water bottles and extra fleece blankets provided to make sure you're warm enough is so thoughtful of you! The jacuzzi tub 😍... I soaked every day in the bubble bath and forgot all my city troubles 😆.

The food is very very good, and very nicely done. I must have added a kilo or two there.

My highlight was the courtesy call every 7pm or there about to check if all is well in the room. That to me was so touching and thoughtful. It's not obvious that one has a hiod day and checking on your guests is an extra!
