FK Spa Resort holds great potential due to its beautiful location and picturesque surroundings. Having stayed here before, I can say the food and service remain commendable, with staff going out of their way to ensure a pleasant dining experience. However, my recent stay left much to be desired, as the property appears to have taken a step backward in terms of maintenance and guest comfort.||The showers in the executive room were broken, with fittings coming off the wall and an unnecessarily complex setup of knobs that didn’t work properly. A simple, functional shower would have been much better. The pillows were uncomfortable, and we noticed hanging electric wires and misplaced sockets in the room, highlighting a lack of attention to detail. It’s clear the hotel needs significant refurbishment to ensure quality and safety, rather than focusing on extensions.||To add to the discomfort, a disco located by the hotel gate played loud music until the early hours of the morning. This made it impossible to relax or get a good night's sleep, which is the primary expectation when staying at a hotel. While it’s understandable that businesses aim to maximize revenue, compromising guest comfort in this way is counterproductive and could drive loyal customers away.||It’s evident that FK Spa Resort requires thoughtful upgrades and a more guest-centric approach. A professional interior designer could breathe new life into the property, ensuring functional and appealing spaces. The house managers also need to focus on attention to detail, prioritizing maintenance and guest experience.||This resort has immense potential, but without significant improvements, it’s unlikely I will return. A stay should be restful and enjoyable, not an exercise in enduring discomfort. I hope the management takes this feedback as an opportunity to refine and enhance what could be a truly exceptional...

The ambiance is good but the staff are soo unwelcome from the reception, they have two ladies at the reception will talk to you at the same time and treat your booking as null and void without empathy, then mention they hv seen your book and ask you to seat as they prepare the documents without any apologies of such occurrence, after booking the hotels rules and amenities are explained to yourself as a warning instead of informative ,like youbare on half board your bill can nit exceed 24000 i literiated with what if it does and im told you will hv no option than to pay, the commulqcked empathy amd warmliness. then they will send another lady ask for your most preferred welcome drink between black coffee and black tea, water option is not provided. Their meals are on point and staff at the restaurant are quite warm but without confidence to engage the guests naturally, the rooms are decapitated, no tissue holders, and sink sleeves, the metalic bases have quite some rust. The towels are very old and changed from white to off white and you have the old lounge slippers. No heater to warm the rooms in cold months.

Ohhh, what a fantastic resort! A great place to wind down over the weekend after a long tiresome week or a grand place to spend one's annual leave!😊

Located just a few kilometers from Nairobi city, this is a convenient place to travel to from time to time throughout the year!

The reception the staff right from the gate is very welcoming and accommodating.

The grounds a very beautiful with lush greenery and beautiful plantain trees line one side of the drive way, which steeps downwards as you enter the gate and drive towards the hotel.

On the backside, there's a welcoming swimming pool and bamboo trees line the wide verandah and backside of the swimming pool.

The rooms are extremely modern, painted with cool colours, well lit and well ventilated.

The hot instant shower is ultra modern, with different angles of shooting out the water from, leaving one feeling fully refreshed!

The food is sumptuous! 😊 A wide range of fresh fruits, vegetable salads, roast meat, wet fried meats, are offered; for both white and red meat.

This is a great resort for the whole family and also...

We had a very good experience at FK. The reception desk is very friendly and helpful. They need to brush on their communication with clients when changes happen but generally well working staff. House keeping team is also very friendly. The restaurant is not bad service was prompt and friendly. À la carte orders take 30 minutes to get prepped so go eating knowing that. We had the buffet option in our booking and the food was delicious and well done. The bar isn’t too bad. It sits overlooking their very pretty pool. The pool is not heated despite being in Nyeri weather 😄 The rooms are really nice. We started out in their standard room and it was well maintained then moved to their superior rooms. All equally well done. The showers are so nice with hot water. The beds are so comfortable. You get hot water bottles and extra blankets on request. We went in the colder season so pack warm clothes when visiting this place and area. Generally loved it here.

Our trip was a delightful experience. It was a two-hour drive from Nairobi, but the journey was truly part of the adventure. The drive offered breathtaking sceneries, and we made several stops along the way to capture the picturesque landscapes. It felt like a mini-exploration before even arriving at the hotel! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and eager to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The service was consistently good throughout our time there, and we felt well taken care of. The hotel itself provided the perfect atmosphere for a peaceful weekend getaway. The environment was calm and serene, ideal for relaxation. We truly appreciated the quiet and the opportunity to unwind, far from the city hustle and bustle. Overall, it was a wonderful escape from Nairobi, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat with friendly service and beautiful surroundings.
