Kijani Kibichi Farm — Hotel in Nyeri

We stayed at the farm for five weeks and we had a great time. All the people we met were super friendly and took great care of us. We mostly worked with digging holes and planting trees at different places all around the farm. We also had alot af time to explore the beautiful surroundings and also just relax. The house we stayed in was very nice, we had alot of space. And having the cat Lucy was really fun, she is an icon. On the weekend, Eric invited us to alot if fun things in Nanyuki. We went to dinner, went swimming and also visited the Christmas market. For anyone thinking about visiting this place, we definitely recommend it! Really great farm in a beautiful rural area with very welcoming and kind hosts! They’ve got plenty of ideas for future projects and I’m curious to see how the farm develops. I stayed there three weeks and was able to plant 100 trees together with another volunteer, helped watering the plants and with several other tasks.
