We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mt Kenya Villas and Eco Camp in Nanyuki, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best experiences I've had in a while. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty of the surroundings and the warm welcome we received from the staff.

The host was absolutely amazing, and she made sure that our comfort was her top priority. The security measures in place at the camp were also reassuring, and the friendly chef and housekeeping staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Dissapointing Experience! Despite booking a month in advance and paying a deposit, our weekend getaway turned into a stressful ordeal. Upon our late-night arrival, we discovered that the owner had given our villa to another group who decided to extend their stay—without any prior communication to us.

When confronted, the owner was dismissive and arrogant, claiming there was nothing they could do since they weren't physically present at the property. Instead of taking responsibility, they shifted blame to the on-site staff, even though booking management was clearly the owner's responsibility.

The staff on site gave us two separate villas. However, this improvised solution meant our party was split between distant locations, significantly impacting our planned group experience.

While the location itself was undeniably beautiful and serene, it was difficult to appreciate the surroundings after such unprofessional treatment. The stunning setting simply couldn't compensate for the stress, inconvenience, and disappointment caused by the owner's poor management and lack of accountability.

I cannot recommend this property to others who value reliability and respect when making travel...
