From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of exceptional. The camp is nestled in the heart of the Maasai Mara, and the natural beauty of the surroundings is truly breathtaking.

Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the staff, who immediately made me feel welcome and at home. Unbelievable and memorable trip and experience at Oseki. The tents were very nice and the beds very comfortable. We went during low season, and had no problems with insects or mosquitoes. The food made by Thomas was great for every meal, and he was so conscious of checking in to make sure everything was okay. They were incredibly accommodating with times that we wanted meals and offered tea and coffee at all hours. The grounds are stunning and safe, with guards monitoring for animals 24/7. There are seating options on the property that allow you to sit and relax, watching the sunset, stargazing, or sitting by the bonfire. My sister and I had such a wonderful experience getting to know all the workers and experiencing a lot of the activities that are offered through Oseki. We went on the hike with Kiu and James into the forest. We saw a few animals from afar, but more importantly learned about the medicinal properties of plants that are important to the Maasai people. It was absolutely gorgeous and we had breathtaking views at the end inside of the park. Before going back down, we learned a bit of archery from Kiu. Kiu and James were incredibly thoughtful about our comforts on the hike, and were both so informative and welcoming about their Maasai traditions. I highly recommend going on it. A couple of days later, we went with Kevin and Solomon to the Maasai village. It was an experience unlike anything I have had before. We were dressed in traditional clothing, per the request of the Maasai. We were encouraged to participate in the dancing, and then to ask questions and learn as much as we would like. They let us into their village, and took us on a tour through a home and to see the beautiful carving and beading they do there. They have a market at the end of the visit where you can buy handmade items made by the ladies of the village. Kevin and Solomon were super kind and helpful as well. We went on a safari organized by Oseki. It was phenomenal. Our driver, Lawrence, was amazing about finding the animals to take us to see and giving us tidbits about the animals. We saw more animals than we could have imagined. We started early and saw the sunrise through the park, which was very close (less than 15 mins) to Oseki. We had a beautiful time and made lasting memories. Dennis and Anne, the owners, were very welcoming and kind as well. We will never forget Oseki and all of the amazing people that work there. We had no issues with insects or mosquitoes, but did wear lots of mosquito repellent. 10/10 would...

We spent wonderful days at Oseki Masaai Mara Camp.

The atmosphere was what we hoped for: an experience with the locals that support the local community. It is a simple camp that is well organized and very close to the entrance of the Masaai Mara. The stay in the tent was comfortable. The bathroom at the back was spacious, and the veranda at the front was well-furnished. The common area, built with local materials, is also beautiful. Here, you can relax and enjoy local or international cuisine.

Lawrence, from the Masaai staff, joined us as a driver and guide during the two days of the Game Drive. He is expert, competent, and very friendly. He managed to show us all the Mara animals and the Migration. He did everything to make our experience unforgettable. At the camp, the Masaai staff is very welcoming and organized in managing the meals and the relative departures for the Game Drives.

Admiring the sunset around the firepit and chatting with the Masaai staff was unforgettable and will remain forever alive in our memories.

I thank Ann for being patient with me, answering all my emails, and helping me organise this unforgettable experience for me and my family. Everything was seamlessly organised for us in the 4 nights we spent there, including the transfers.

I thank the young Jackson for the unforgettable laughs and the fun Bush Walk with the whole family: he taught us so many things about the nature present in the place, and he did it in a very fun way. I also thank the older Jackson, Solomon, Kevin, Dennis and all the others whose names I unfortunately do not remeber for their pleasant company, sympathy, and support in everything. Once again, thank you, Lawrence, for taking us to the 2 full days of Game Drive: we had the opportunity to enjoy a natural environment and have an experience we will never forget.
