The rooms are great, infact beautiful, look rustic as well as modern with all amenities. Rooms have everything, you ask and it's there. The bathroom shower gives the feel of a crazy waterfall, it feels like one with nature. They also have an open secluded shower, as well as a bathtub, both strategically located inside the cottage. We have no regrets recommending this camp as far as the rooms are concerned. However, the food was not up to the mark. We were all vegetarians, and there were practically no options. The food was bland, tasteless and flavourless. I don't want to be rude to the chefs who were cooking our food, but the same appeared tastless, as if no effort was put into it. I am very disappointed with the meals of my otherwise fantastic stay! Also, please remember to carry your own water, as only one bottle of water is provided and the rest is chargeable, not a very pleasant feature. No wifi in rooms, another unwelcoming feature...
Read moreWhat an incredible stay we had at PrideInn Mara. We loved our cottage which had comfortable beds, great shower, and a nice terrace - it had everything we needed.
The property is in a good location where you can see a lot of animals (baboons, black-faced monkeys, mongoose, and so many different birds) and it is also inside the park.
The buffet always had good food and we enjoyed all of our meals.
The staff are amazing and some of the friendliest, kindest people. Special shout out to Edison, Brenda and our guide/driver Alfred! They assisted us during our whole 3 day/2 night stay and we have all become close as they made us feel like we are friends. I will definitely stay here again just to see them. They have shown us acts of kindness that we appreciated so much.
The game drives with Alfred were great, he is truly knowledgeable and an expert in his field.
Our stay was very relaxing and memorable. Thank you so...
Read moreMy wife and I spend 12 days in Kenya and stayed at a few lodges. This lodge is by far our favourite lodge we stayed at. The food is absolutely amazing. Plenty of drink options (and really good coffee) you can watch the monkeys running around everywhere while you sit next to the river having a drink. Or eat breakfast/lunch/dinner also next to the river or the deck. After dinner you’re able to walk over to the conversation pit and sit by the nightly campfire. Some days if you’re lucky the Maasai tribesmen will come preform after dinner also. The accommodations themselves were also beautiful. Tent looking cabins, very safari style! The one we had was backed right up to the river and had our porch facing it directly. Lock your doors every time though the monkeys know how to use door handles!! Overall we would love to come stay here again no...
