This is one of the best places I've stayed at. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. But the unbeatable highlight was the location. To be able to sit on your verandah or swim in your pool and watch wildlife such as elephants, zebra and waterbuck stroll by is just incredible. The room was very nice and clean. The mattress in my room could've used a bit of an upgrade to fit the rest of the place but it was ok. The mosquito net was prepped during turn down service and didn't have any holes (not a given in many places sadly). Having said that, I understand why they spray against mosquitos but it did concern me a bit that they would do that in such a precious natural environment. I'd prefer the other recommended actions against mosquitos rather than the pollution of spraying. Great they use water bottles and not plastic for complimentary water. The food is buffet style, I liked that they served ugali and greens on one evening so that you can eat some local food as well. I would've loved some fresh juices without sugar on the lunch & dinner menu. The view from the restaurant is again amazing and the staff there are lovely too. The team can also arrange game drives on short notice which I really appreciated. Overall, I can't recommend Manyatta camp highly enough. Thank you to all the amazing staff!

I think this was one of the worst if not the worst hotel experiences of my life. We checked in and had lunch with a side of flies and bugs. Then got out to a tent but the tent has no wifi and my husband has to work so we switched to a room in the sister hotel beside here. The room we were put in was absolutely infested with bugs. I didn’t know if that was normal here so we dealt with it for too long since I was scared to leave the bed with the bug net. When giant bugs started falling into the bed from net I finally asked for another room. The second room was slightly better but the bed was rock hard and no ac meant I was up all night sweating and still traumatized from the bug infested room. The dinner was so disgusting I couldn’t even eat it with the bugs around. Again, I didn’t know if it was normal hotel experience since it is in the wild but I checked into another hotel nearby tonight and it is so much better so it’s definitely not normal. Do yourselves a favor and don’t stay here

Manyatta Camp is fantastic. From the location, next to the Tsavo’s gate with wild animals roaming in front of the tent, to the staff, kind and attentive. They warmly satisfied our requests and even helped us to solve some issues we had with the train ride. We are a family of four with a young daughter and an older son. The tent fit perfectly. The food was delicious with plenty of vegetarian and local options. We took their offer of a full day game drive, and it was one of the best experience ever done. Tsavo has an animal density that we did not expect and our guide, Jackan, went the extra mile to spot the animals we wished to see. Both the camp and the game drive were outstanding and offered excellent value for the money spent. We vividly recommend it.

Our two-night stay at Manyatta Camp in Tsavo East was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the heart of the wild, this camp offers a perfect blend of comfort and adventure, making it an ideal spot for a safari retreat.

The tents at Manyatta Camp are spacious and well-equipped, offering a luxurious glamping experience with all the necessary amenities while still making you feel close to nature. The private verandas provide a perfect spot to enjoy the breathtaking views of the African savannah, where we could often spot wildlife roaming freely right from our tent.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their knowledge about the local wildlife and the surrounding area added a rich layer to our safari experience.

The highlight of our stay was the game drives, where we had the chance to witness the incredible diversity of Tsavo East’s wildlife, from majestic elephants to elusive big cats. Returning to the camp after each adventure felt like coming home, with delicious meals waiting and a serene environment to unwind in.

In conclusion, Manyatta Camp is a gem in Tsavo East, offering an immersive and comfortable safari experience. Whether you're a seasoned safari-goer or it's your first time in the wild, this camp provides an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the beauty...

Our 2 night stay was simply worth it. The camp is amazing, clean and well set up. The tents are very nice, comfortable and spacious, and what makes it amazing is the private swimming pool outside each tent overlooking the view of Tsavo East. We had lots of elephants and a few zebras pass going towards Voi Wildlife Lodge. | The staff are so friendly and helpful, they greet you every morning and ask if you rested well at night. Carol at the reception was amazing, she took care of us and ensured we were comfortable.|The security guard - Thomas took care of us well and he showed us a cheetah early in the morning that wasn't too far from our tent. We followed the cheetah all the way to Voi Willdife Lodge where it went to drink water. Later in the evening we saw a Lioness at Voi Wildlife Lodge which is a 10 minute walk from the camp.|The food was amazing for both veg and non-veg - There's a good variety one can choose from. The dessert also is fresh and so delicious! The Staff at the dining area were so good and always asked us how our day went and if we saw any animals. I love this camp - it's just perfect. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely visit...
