Easy Sleep Guesthouse — Hotel in Trans-Nzoia County

We went to Easy Sleep Guesthouse and enjoyed our stay. The place is family owned and operated.

The staff are friendly and they catered to all our needs. The rooms we used were refreshed each day which enhanced the hygiene standards. The Chef cooked customized meals for us each day, and he is skilled in diverse ways of cooking. Our personal favorites were: chicken wings, french fries, natural chicken, simple beef stew, fruit bowl, groundnuts, chapati, traditional vegetables, chicken pilau, and beef pilau.

The guesthouse is located at the extended foot hills of Mount Elgon, making it a great place with good views.

The absence of a lounge makes it even more peaceful and respectful. There’s no loud music at any time making it peaceful and serene without attracting a certain kind of crowd. Therefore it is a place where a family can stay.

One can take long walks around the area and the street is well lit even at night. This makes it easy to take an evening run.

Easy Sleep is just a walking distance from the Kitale Airstrip and 15 minutes drive from Kitale Town making it convenient to locate.

The internet though is run by Safaricom, the signal can be extremely weak making it a bit challenging to do some work/research.

The place has greatly layered security and cute friendly and well trained dogs adding to the level of security at night.

It lacks ambiance. Basically, it's a pitstop if using Kitale airstrip in offering basic needs. The two staff members were very helpful in terms of assistance. Not good if one is physically challenged to use stairs if housed in one of the Queen rooms on the 4th floor. A bit stingy on toilet tissues. Breakfast is very good but...

Quiet, peaceful, tranquil environment and the best place for relaxation and retreat. You guys have it well on the matters lawn. It is well manicured.
