Dashuna Stays Nyali — Hotel in ziwa La Ng'ombe ward

14 5-star reviews led me to believe that everything was OK, so I didn't check before paying. I've included photos to back my review.

The house was well furnished, but not well maintained AT ALL. There were roaches all over, including inside the microwave oven. The shower head was missing and there were leftover biscuits in the cupboards too. There was no mosquito net over the bed either. When I raised these issues, the host said that the house wasn't theirs actually, which I thought was a ridiculous response.

On a more positive note, the location was OK. I'm glad that I had initially booked for one night only. There were people on hand to address whatever complaints I had raised, but I felt that sending them over (e.g. plumber who came to look at the broken shower) should have been done proactively, rather than as a reaction to a complaint from an already dissatisfied guest. Other than that, the place would be amazing if only the hosts would be more diligent in ensuring cleanliness and that broken fittings get replaced before letting...
