This is the highlight of our hike in Kosovo. My husband and I are hiking the Peaks of the Balkans, and in comparison to Montenegro and Albania, the Kosovo part isn't as significant, but we came across this guesthouse. We were disappointed with our last guesthouse, and my husband and I are considering staying in a hotel in Peja to have better food. We walked past this beautiful guesthouse and stopped to buy a drink, but I was so impressed at the location; its view was just spectacular, the place was clean, and the people were warm and welcoming. I told my husband to cancel his other booking and stay. We weren't disappointed; the food was terrific, and we couldn’t believe it. It was the food that we were longing for protein, fibre, and carbs. After a disappointing meal at our last guesthouse in Kosovo, it was utterly satisfying. I will stay here again; the view of the food and the room for me is a complete package. This guesthouse was one of the best we stayed in while hiking the peaks of the balkans trail. The rooms are big and super clean, with a bathroom inside and a terrace ! On the terrace, you get a stunning view on the mountains.
The food was delicious and we tasted a very local and freshly made dinner. The breakfast and lunch were also delicious and in generous quantities.
Beyond the great stay, the hospitality of the family was incredible! They speak German perfectly and some members of the family speak English too. We had great exchanges with them, and they also offer a transport directly to the restaurant Te Liqeni to avoid some 13km of walk on the road.

Guys, this is the WORLDS BEST KEPT SECRET!!! Where to begin with this place. I am soooooo pleased I stayed here on my POTBalkans trip and this was easilyyyyy the most amazing. The family, the food, the room, the view, the balcony. And above all - the price!! €35 all in. I left a healthy tip as this will not be the price in a year from now! I would pay €35 for the THREE course dinner I had. Packed lunch to take with me on my next day. Kosovo truly has a hidden gem here, I WILL return one day JUST for this place. Incredible.
