Hotel OK Prizren — Hotel in The plateau of Dukagjin

Since 2011, Hotel OK has been updated and everything made new. The negative posts mentioned prior are no longer relevant as the hotel was undergoing renovations. The furniture is very modern and nice with flat screen televisions, hair dryer, cable (including German and English channels), air conditioning, and Internet. The staff gave me an excellent deal of 20 Euros a night for 180 nights with upfront payment, breakfast included. The hotel is located about 7km from Prizren center and 2km from the nearest large supermarket, so a car is essential to stay here. There is a restaurant downstairs with affordable menu items, 2-3 Euros for a basic plate.||||The daytime staff is conversant in English; however, the nighttime staff isn't, but this shouldn't be a problem if one is looking for basic services (i.e., a room for the night). ||||In addition, the hotel runs at a low occupancy rate. We stayed in this hotel a while ago. We turned up without a reservation after leaving the Hotel Afa in Pristina early(see review of hotel Afa). Staff were friendly. The lift hadn't been installed yet so one of the guys at reception helped us to the room with our cases. ||||The area was very scenic and quiet. According to me the hotel is maximum two stars. The room lights were broken or they were not installed, the lift was too noisy (I could hear it even in my room), a receptionist coud not speak english, the bathroom was not clean on 100%(especially the ceiling was awful), I coud not unlocked the bathroom door, the breakfast was poor,....I could find only four channels on TV (which were uninteresting).
