Never have I experienced a more rude staff than at this property. Before we arrived, we called to see the options to stay here; a little house, or at the hotel including three meals. We decided we wanted a little house to have our own space. We asked several questions, including:||- Is it peaceful/ quiet around (staff answer: yes)||- Are there cars around (staff answer: no)||||Guess what we got to the house: cars all around, and construction going on right next door. Despite what they said, the cars came onto the resort all evening/ night and never left (staff claimed all cars had to leave for the night). The construction happened every day (including Sunday's). See pictures for proof.||||When confronted with this, the response was: 'Take it or leave it'.||||You have to pay extra for (on the resorts own premises):||- A bed on the beach||- Use of a parasol on the beach||- Use of the pool||- ...||||It's location is decent, the view is alright, and the beach is a bit muddy. Wifi is only available in the lobby; which is ridiculous for a 'hotel/ resort'. Don't expect wifi in your vacation house. They do have a nice pier, and a decent kids playground.||||Would not recommend going here, plenty of better...

It is located by a man made, but nevertheless pleasant, beach on the lakeside between two mountain ranges which remain snow capped even in the height of summer. ||The beach has good facilities and is by no means over developed or crowded. The lake is clean and clear.||The bedroom in the main building (there are also bungalows in the grounds) was light, airy with a mountain view. It was basic, a little faded but adequate. The walls were plain white and the floor linoleum. Our bed was comfortable and there was ample storage space. The bathroom was functional, tiled in white. ||We had to choose how to use the one power point, either the fridge or the tv! This was made easy by the tv not working and paramount need to keep our drinks cool.||As is the surviving soviet habit, there was no wash basin plug so bring your own.||Our dinner and breakfast were also reminiscent of soviet era rationing so emergency supplies of food treats are...
Read moreTaking into account that the hotel is located in the middle of Central Asia far from a big city I can give a "Good" rate to this hotel instead of "Avarage". The best part about this hotel is a woderful view of mountains and clean lake. The territory is well cared about. It is such a contrast comparing with poor villages you go through on the way. Rooms were not the best. Beds little rough. Internet only in the lobby, it doesn't reach rooms. TV only in Russian. Since it was fall it was very peaceful on the beach. The water was very clean and calm. Cooking in the restaurant was acceptable as long as you are good with general...
