The camp is very basic but that’s all you get on the track. People are very friendly, can speak English ok and the set up is basic but really ok considering the remote location. There is no reception, the yurts are good, you get sleeping bag+blanket and sleep on a mattress. (I had layered clothing on and was warm). Food is ok (egg+sausage for breakfast, soup & bread for dinner, plenty of jam and sweets - like always 😉). Price: 4.000 som incl. breakfast & dinner per person/ night. If you reserve through a guesthouse in Karakol you usually pay 500 som deposit and the rest in the camp. We didn't stay in a yurt instead we camped with our own tent for a night and it was free of charge.
There was a dinning hall where we could come in, sit and eat. It looks basic but it kept us warm from the cold outside.
The dinner was 1000som/person with tea, breads, jam and pasta soup (potatos, carrots and farflle and a few pieces of meat). It's good that you could get the 2nd serving.
