Guest house Kyzyl alma — Hotel in Jalal-Abad Region

We had a nice 2-night stay at the Kyzyl Alma. Located just off the main road up a 30m gravel drive, the modern guesthouse has 4 rooms with multiple beds in each room. All rooms share a single bathroom/toilet which is new and modern with a good shower and a washing machine. Our room was spacious with 4 beds and a view out to the garden. The room was clean and comfortable but the beds were very hard and we didn’t sleep well. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming, as with most guesthouses in this country. The Wifi system worked well and the connection seemed reasonably fast. The food was very good, the usual traditional Kyrgyz fare. They were even kind enough to provide us a packed lunch for our hike up at Sary Chelek. We loved the outdoor eating area and sitting area – very pleasant. I stayed here for more then a week. a nice place to stay when visiting the lakes and also for just relax and enjoy the village life. Very friendly family that opened that new guest house last year. The rooms are comfortable, clean western style toilet and shower inside the building, hot water all day long. The location it's just perfect, in the center, close to few shops, 20 meters above the main street, so you will avoid the noise and dust of the passing cars and have a beautiful view to the mountain from your room window. There is one twin room and three four beds rooms. There is Wi-Fi that work quite well and also very good 4g signal with all the three mobile service providers. The current price is 1000 som per person for a night with dinner and breakfast. Very good value for money. I will definitely come back the next time I will visit...

April 2024. Great guesthouse at a very reasonable price. The owner is very nice, speaks a bit of English and is not afraid of using a translator to make sure everything is fine :) Rooms are warm and comfortable. Modern bathroom with hot shower and everything is inside. Delicious homemade food.
