Novel - Hotel & Appartments — Hotel in Korumdu

First of all, I assume that for Kyrgyz standards this is considered a good hotel. However, we did not have a great experience. The hotel rooms feel extremely uncomfortable and cold. There is no decoration, the cutlery is thrown carelessly into the drawers and cleanliness is also lacking. At first, we had a comfort apartment, but due to an Expedia error we were upgraded to a deluxe suite. However, apart from the extra room, there was nothing “deluxe” about it. The springs of one mattress were completely broken. The soap dispenser in the bathroom had fallen off and seemed to have been lying there for quite some time. The cutlery in the drawer was partly broken. Cleanliness also left much to be desired.

As for the restaurant – breakfast was quite good, but dinner was overpriced and did not suit our taste.

Regarding the pool – it was completely unusable because the water was so green. The beach is quite nice and relatively clean, but what is absolutely outrageous is that you have to pay for the gray sunbeds if the hard wooden ones are taken. This is unacceptable for a so-called “4-star hotel.” The guy in charge of the sunbeds at the beach was extremely rude to me and even demanded that I carry the sunbed away myself.

Anyone hoping to relax at this hotel is in the wrong place. The pool party music is turned up so loud already at 11 a.m. that you can hear it across the entire beach. I asked several times for the music to be turned down, which they did briefly, but it was turned right back up again shortly afterward. Very disrespectful! And if you are going to blast music that loud, at least play good music – not like a DJ Skip just skipping through songs.

All in all, we regret spending so much money here and will definitely never book this...

Novel Hotel and Apartments is a wonderful place to stay! Located right by the beautiful Lake Issyk-Kul, the hotel offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Полный абсурд за такие деньги!

Мы, к сожалению, не посмотрели отзывы и повелись на красивые картинки. В результате — один из самых неудачных отпусков. Номер стоил 160$ в сутки, и это просто абсурд за такие условия.

Всё грязное: пол в песке, постель в чёрных волосах, ванная в ужасном состоянии — ручка двери вообще оторвана. Ощущение, что номер после предыдущих гостей вообще не убирали. Кондиционеров нет, и это в такую жару! Предложили принести вентилятор, в 2025 году в отеле за 160$ сутки предлагают принести вентилятор!!

Отдельное “развлечение” — в 9 утра по всей территории через рупор разносится крик: «Встаём на завтрак, доброе утро!» Ни сна, ни покоя — забудьте.

А теперь “вишенка на торте” — ресторан. Еду ждали больше часа. В зале хаос, персонал не справляется, кофе нет вообще — ни капли! Как можно не иметь кофе на территории отеля в 2025 году?!

Категорически не рекомендую. За 160 долларов можно найти что-то в разы лучше — и чище, и тише, и с...
