We got to Pakse and stay at Champasak Grand Hotel in three of 1 bedroom suite from 11/22/2023 to 11/25/2023. This was my worst experiences that I ever had since I had travel to Laos for the fifth time. The facilities are ok, but the services were horrible. We got kicked out from our dinning table on our first night dinner because there were hotel VIP guests had their table next to us. They just came up to us and demanded us to move to other end of the restaurant because the territory had been occupied by their VIP, no one can't sitting close to them. I was shocked and disappointed, how this sh...t happen in the 21st century. I felt like I had been living in the animal society that one individual pissed on grass to mark their territory so no one get close to their boundary. Please, if someone is thinking of traveling to Pakse and stay there, you should not have any conflict with these people, It may become a life threaten. For your own safety, please consider to stay somewhere else.||||It could be our bad luck of the November month, next morning we were enjoyed our breakfast and chit_chat talking about what had happened to us on the past evening. Certainly on my last bite of the stir fry vegetable plate, please see the picture below what it was. I believed, for them to prove that was the real organic vegetable they have to include that worm. Please try to avoid not to stay there if you are planning to travel...

Read moreNot a bad place to stay in Pakse Laos. Rooms are clean, not too big, some of the rooms have a nice view. I was stuck looking at the facility below but I did not mind. I wasn't in the room that much only to wash up and sleep then head back out. The Location is in the heart of the city at the entrance of the bridge. The restaurant located at the hotel was kind of pricey and more catered to foreigners. The Bathroom has a tub in it which is perfect. Service there is great. They have a pool and a gym. The Gym says open at 6am but sometimes it is not. Breakfast service 6am to 10am. Not bad but not that great. I mostly went for the bread and jam with a side of coffee and went out to eat real Lao food. Senhun28 is highly recommended by me. Only problem I had was laundry was so expensive. If you do decide to get laundry done. Be ready to pay a steep price. They charge per clothing and another person in out group clothes came back with stains still on it. Overall. I'd give this hotel and experience...
