Lost world ⛳️ surrounded by amazing nature. The hotel is history, in general, when you hear the name Rosewood, you immediately think about the service and the little things in every detail. This hotel is special with a rich history, with a beautiful partially well-maintained area and a mini-private outdoor pool, with a small number of rooms, each room is designed in different designs. Worn up by time. The most important thing in the hotel is the service and it leaves much to be desired. The employees were slow and forgetful, as if they were just learning or students, although everyone looked to be over 30+. The main restaurant 🍽️ was bad, the menu was very scarce and organic, some positions were not available, the service left much to be desired by the employees, then they disappeared as in the game and constantly confused the whole order with memory, they obviously had problems. No one asked about allergens and brought my pregnant wife a spicy 🌶️ sauce, although we notified the waiter that we couldn’t spicy 🚫 we are in a position, but he can see he just ignored it. Serving 🍽️ was strange or it was not as such. The dishes are old. Submission of dishes without clarification. The serving of dishes is very boring 😑 The quality of the dishes is very mediocre. The waiters don't know the menu at all. Some popular items from the menu were not available, to which the waiter said, well, we just have stale meat 🥩 chicken 🍗 is also stale!? How can such a hotel have stale products? Strange restaurant policy. Waiting for food is a bit long. The general WC 🚾 at the main restaurant was just terrible, and even one ☝️ for everyone, cleaning left much to be desired. In general, the claim is only for the service and restaurant, everything else is beautiful, authentic, but a little 🤏 tired. Gym is missing. There is no entertainment for children. 10 minutes to the cent by car. The atmosphere of forgotten luxury lost in the strange hotel management. Good luck everyone 🍀

Cannot cannot cannot recommend Rosewood Luang Prabang enough!! From start to finish it was pure magic. Every detail was accounted for. From the ease of getting around town, to the staff making dinner reservations and nail appointments for my mom and I. I could not speak more highly of Rosewood Luang Prabang. My mom and I still can’t stop raving about how personal every staff member is. They always addressed us by name which in turn made my mom and work extra hard to remember everyone’s name (though we weren’t always great). Mor and Filipa were such a warm smile to see every morning at breakfast. And Noy and Sing were the PERFECT people to take my mom and I on our 4 hour hike to the waterfall - a highlight of our whole trip was the nonstop conversation we had with the both of them. The staff is so amazing that Sing took his new shoes OFF HIS FEET and gave them to me to hike in since I was negligent and didn’t bring proper shoes and then he hiked all 7 miles in sandals. Each night we got excited to see what the small turn down gift would be. I know my mom and I will continue to tell everyone about our time here which in turn already has us seeking out other Rosewood hotels to travel to next. The service here has set the bar so high I am unsure if it will ever be matched again. Thank you Rosewood Luang Prabang for the most spectacular mom/daughter getaway.

We have stayed at some of the most beautiful and best hotels in the entire world, but honestly upon arrival, it was overwhelming as everything is just so photogenic and stunning! We have stayed at many Bill Bensley hotels in the past, but this one is handsdown our favourite. I restore historic properties as a hobby, so typically love as old as possible with as much character and charm retained, and this was built to look in the traditional Laotian design - along a river/waterfall. Elephant bar is directly over the river and absolutely beautiful, has such old world charm. We had a waterfall pool villa and honestly sitting outdoors every night was magical. The food was great, and my boyfriend bonded with a cat that came around every night so would give it leftovers of my fish (sure the hotel did not appreciate that since the cat tracked paw prints everywhere outside). They take you to town upon demand, which we did not take advantage of, so we stayed a couple days afterwards in town which was of course extremely charming, and as they do not have a gym on site, they have an agreement with a property nearby so my boyfriend was able to use their gym every day whilst at Rosewood. Also, they have a private boat which they can take you out on, which was such a wonderful experience! It was our first visit to Laos and I know it will not be our last.

The fact that Rosewood Luang Prabang could not find my valuable goods is unacceptable. It's been a while after my check-out and I haven't heard any Lost & Found news from the team. Guys... I'm pretty certain I left my heart & soul somewhere in the resort and you need to return them back to me please.

I traveled in early February from Ho Chi Minh city & transited in Bangkok, then time literally stopped the moment my feet were set on Luang Prabang soil. I was generously welcomed with cool fresh air & lovely warm hospitality.

Car passed by the beaaauuuutiful town before bringing me to the property. Slowly sat down in The Great House & ordered Laos beer with local sausage to enjoy my most relaxing check-in ever. They walked me through the cutest garden, crossed the Elephant bridge bar & followed a little babbling stream to get to the Riverside room.

The whimsical yet fascinating design is definitely what I live for: wooden tone, colorful & sophisticated artworks here & there, walking closet connected to fully equipped bathroom, SUPER COMFORTABLE bedding & linens (made me feel like a millionaire), wide open window & a small side door to an open living area.

Housekeeping team did an excellent job: they secretly observed my personal touches & organized the room exactly the way I wanted without asking (I’m pretty OCD in my living areas), turn down service with a mystery gift on my bed evert night, matchy Bluetooth speaker… I could not get enough of the room. Absolute worth value for money.

I think I gained 3,5kg after this trip just because the food was sooo good. Chilling weather made it even better… quick grabbed a Gold beer or a yummy Rim Khong cocktail on the way back, deliciousss grilled fish, tasty sour hot soup with steamed/sticky rice, I mean… What could you ask for more?

You can easily find What to do/Where to dine both at Concierge desk or rustic in-room Directory. Complimentary shuttle bus to town & stylish bicycle are great addition to the stay. Exclusive location is what I love about this place: not too centered not too far, the nature in & surroundings..

Sense spa is located deeper in a small path, and you must come here. Imagine you get massage while watching the stream underneath.. listening to the real waterfall & relaxing full body. Absolutely enjoyed my treatment.

What made me truly feel this resort like at home is hands down: the people. I felt like home when I first came & I still felt like home when I left. Adrien, Ott, Max, Lee, Oue Lao, Chan, Noy and many more familiar faces but I could not remember your name: I’m sorry… They are kind, gentle, thoughtful, loving, funny.. and most importantly, they are genuine.

Definitely recommend to everyone.. and Yes, I will come back.. To...

I went and stayed there alone for relaxing on period 17-19Nov24. The hotel has a great atmosphere, very beautiful and extremely natural. It's perfect for a true relaxing getaway. The rooms are spacious and clean, beautifully and uniquely decorated. The hotel's food is very delicious, and the breakfast is also great. All the staff at the hotel are attentive, friendly, and kind.||In the front office department, Ms. Litar, the front office agent, checked me in and escorted me to my room, providing excellent care and advice. Mr. Aodd, another front office agent, gave me various recommendations and assisted with the check-out process. Mr. Tiey & Mr. Vin, the bellboys, were very helpful and took great care of my luggage during both check-in and check-out.||In the F&B department, Mr. Tee, the F&B Manager, was very friendly and took care of my meals. He would come and talk to me, providing excellent information and demonstrating professionalism, making me feel like I had a big brother looking after me. Additionally, Mr. Aumporn, the F&B Leader, Mr. Wong, and Ms. Mor, the F&B staff, who took care of breakfast, would always talk to me and give great recommendations about breakfast. Ms. Fhilips, who looked after dinner, was very lovely and kind, always engaging in conversation whenever we met. Mr. Noi Thanakorn, the bartender, would always greet me whenever I passed by the bar.||In the Housekeeping department, Ms. Melon, the Housekeeping Manager, was very kind and took care of me from the day I arrived at the hotel until the day I checked out. She always provided recommendations and talked to me, making me feel like I had an elder sister looking after me. She ensured the room was clean and took care of the turn-down amenities. She and her team were highly professional in maintaining the room. I have to thank her and the housekeeping team.||Lastly, Mr. Wan, the driver, who drove us to various places in the city and recommended tourist attractions, deserves thanks.||In conclusion, the hotel is peaceful with a great atmosphere and beautiful views. All the staff are friendly and professional, showcasing excellent training. If anyone wants to relax in Laos and is looking for a beautiful and excellent place to stay, you should not miss Rosewood Luang Prabang. Thank...

We had arrived in Laos in the midst of Lao New Year and on the way from the airport our car was frequently hosed with water, or sprayed by playful local children with water pistols, as is the traditional cleansing ritual associated with the New Year. On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by the charming general manager Adrien, and were offered a welcome drink as we settled into the comfortable loungers overlooking the pool and waterfalls to complete the check-in process. ||The hotel itself was fantastic. Upon entering our room, we were greeted by a hand-written note and a complimentary bottle of wine to help us start our honeymoon off on the right foot. We had a river view suite, which was spacious, as well as beautifully and tastefully decorated. The gifts became a nightly theme, which arrived with the turndown service. From hand-made coasters made by the local hearing impaired charity, to pottery elephants made by local indigenous tribes.||The staff at the Rosewood were exceptionally helpful with recommendations and assistance booking restaurants. One of the staff, Tee was particularly helpful and got to know our preferences for cuisine and sightseeing and we loved having daily conversations with him about our day’s outings and plans for the next day.||The hotel has beautiful gardens with a river and waterfall. A small, but big enough infinity pool to cool yourself in, and offers fantastic spa treatments in peaceful rooms above the river.||Our last evening ended with dinner at the hotel with a traditional Laotian hotpot. A bucket of red, glowing charcoals was brought to the table, topped by a terracotta pot of steaming homemade broth. As assortment of meats - buffalo, chicken, tilapia, and pork - were brought to the table, along with a huge bowl of fresh vegetables, a lot grown in the hotel’s own kitchen garden. Our server, Ong, expertly cooked, served and chatted throughout this delightful bookend to our trip to Laos. ||The evening ended, as the previous nights had done, in the beautiful, Elephant bar. Its stunning setting above the river is only improved by trying to guess how many elephants there are in the bar.||All in all, exceptional hotel with great staff in a...
