We went there to celebrate our friend's 30th birthday. We were 12 people and we're calm, no big parties, the plan was just to cook some meat, do some activities, play board games. ||It's a nice benefit to have basketball court right next to the big house we were staying in.||There's a nice little gazebo next to the small river with couple of chairs and a table. The gazebo like many other things were new at least 10 years ago & you can see that this place really needs some refreshment. ||Inside the house is outdated, but functional. There are bedrooms on 1st & 2nd floor. A small kitchen is on the 1st floor with all the necessary stuff. An area to spend time is in the basement, which was a bit depressing. Good things about it - there was a novus table, foosball table, a tv, tables, office chairs. ||Bad things: there was no mic for karaoke, foosball table didn't have balls. ||We decided to sit outside on the porch, play games and enjoy the summer. ||There were only a couple of chairs outside and no table, so we took stuff from the basement. ||At 22:40 one of the owners came with a very bad attitude and tone and told us hat we are not supposed to sit here, we have a room in the basement for sitting; the furniture should not be brought outside (ok, fair enough) AND before taking everything back in (including ourselves), we should wipe the bottoms of all chairs to make sure no sand is brought in :D I mean seriously, we were not bothering anyone, not yelling, we would put everything back where we took it, but this seemed totally uncalled for & nasty. ||A lot of rooms had bathrooms, which is a nice bonus. ||Next morning 20min before the checkout we had another friendly visit with the hostess going through the house and asking questions/ giving tips, which seemed a bit intrusive, since we still got time and I don't think she should come in there, while we're still paying for the place.||Overall I wouldn't go there again or recommend to anyone I know, but it looks like it could be enjoyed by a bigger family with kids or couple...
Read morePictures do differ from reality. Keep it in mind. The only road that you can get there is in really bad condition. It is in the middle of military zone. Shooting, exploding, military personnel and equipment. Gets really noisy when military has practise. Please be aware of road signs and markings on trees, you can get shot if in wrong area at wrong time. Most of ponds are artificial. Remains of military action. Most dryed out this season and actual water is hard to access. Fishing requires permit per rod. Guest house is not remote to neighbours, right next to owners house. Owner is against "loud music". JBL charge 3 on full is too loud in his case. Outdoor seating and a table only upon request. You are not allowed to take table/chairs outside guest house. If you want firepit - must pay extra (1 load of sticks 5 eur, enough for few hours). Sauna in guest house is a joke - seats only 3 peaople comfortably at a time. 60 degrees C is max. And you must pay for time/person. Closest grocery shop is 25 min drive by car. On site shop has only icecream/potato chips/canned pork and a few drinks. WiFi in guest house is reachable only on first floor and a few meters around house. Speed is not the best even for browsing internet. Hot tub is paid for time. Whater is reused for every guest, not the best smell to it. Water is being drained when time runs out. Beds are super hard. Squeaking a lot. Overall condition of guest house has deteriorated. Condition of quad bikes, offered by owner, is questionable. Especially regarding safety. Routes are actual offroad. Guest house is full of mosquitos. Otherwise most of items/services available upon request (at extra charge). Free parking, but driving prohibited from 22.00 to 8.00 In conclusion, I suggest choose another place. Especially since most others offer same services for all inclusive price and are less restrictive while having better condition...
Read moreThis place was an absolute NIGHTMARE from the moment we arrived. First of all, the shower stalls looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in WEEKS—mold crawling up the walls, hair clumps stuck in the drains, and a revolting stench of mildew that made me gag every time I stepped inside. It was like showering in a disease-ridden prison cell.
But that wasn’t even the worst part. There was a HOLE. IN. OUR. DOOR. Yes, a literal gaping hole, like someone had punched or kicked it in—and no one bothered to repair it. So much for privacy or safety. Through the night, freezing wind crept in, and we had no way to block it. How is that even legal?!
Then came the bugs—an infestation, not just a few harmless ants. I’m talking huge, winged, mutant-looking insects crawling across our bags, pillows, and even inside our clothes. We were woken up at 3 AM with bugs crawling on our skin. My friend found one in her HAIR. We barely slept, afraid they’d make their way into our ears or mouths. Absolutely revolting.
And while we were trying to deal with this hellscape, a group of unruly, unsupervised teenagers screamed, yelled, played loud music, and ran around until 4 in the freaking morning! And no one from the staff did a thing about it. ZERO supervision. It was like a lawless dump run by ghosts.
And then—this is where it gets INSULTING—the so-called “administrators” had the audacity to demand a 50 EURO “extra charge” just to use the grill. A filthy, rusty, greasy excuse for a barbecue that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since 1992. Are you KIDDING ME?
This wasn’t a vacation. This was a hostile survival experience. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy. It’s an overpriced cesspool with zero respect for human decency. NEVER. AGAIN. Shut this place down or burn it to the ground—it’d be an...
